Review: Rawhide and Roses is about an 18 year old beauty, Brianne Logan who is abused by her affluent father, and deserted by her gentle mother, so she runs away from home. Living alone without money or food is terribly hard and Brianne is so desperate that she tries to steal a chicken to eat. She gets caught and is thrown in jail. There she meets Malo Navaja, an infamous outlaw, who is really Hayden Caldwell, a Texas Ranger under cover. Hayden is trying to get evidence against Brianne's father to prove he's a criminal so when Brianne tells him her father is Art Logan, 'Malo' kidnaps her from jail when he gets free. From the first he is attracted to her but fights his feelings. When Brianne suffers amnesia and Hayden claims he is her husband she does everything she can to seduce him. The flames fly and a happy ending is near. Rawhide and Roses is fun exciting romp, with sensual romance thrown in there to make a perfect historical romance.
