Review: This book was fantastic. As a Louisiana native with California connections, I thought it was very authentic and well researched. The characters and dialogue were engaging, and I loved the story. This is truly a sleeper hit. When people find this book they will find a gem. Mr. Pete is a terrific writer and I look forward to his next book.

Summary: keepin' it real
Review: This text was definately "REAL." After reading this book, I was literally looking for more! Glover's character certainly plays in the minds of today's women. Just when I thought I had Glover and Maxwell figured out, Damn, here we go again! I love books that deal with "real stuff" or as some may say "the drama that be." I am the first to confess that I was hooked!

Summary: Real for me, real for anyone
Review: This was a good read. I purchased a copy for my sister-n-law and once I read it I was glad to know that it was a great gift to give. The book was easy to read and kept my interest peaked as that is sometimes difficult due to my schedule. The fact that there were things that I learned as well as things I was familiar with made it seem "real for me" for sure!A great ending to a great story. This author has great potential and I look forward to reading more from him.

Review: This was a good story !! One where the sistah this time was playing the yo yo love game . She was torn between her heart's love and a committed relationship with her long time boy friend . After years of dating Lionel, he proposes. Then one day Max walks in on her job and it was a blur. Was it the wealth and money that was holding Glover to Lionel. Clearly her heart belonged to someelse . What do you think she did ? I could hardly wait to see what was going to happen ! I will say this ,there was a big secret revealed during the end that changed things . This as I stated was a good read and I look forward to Eric's next book !

Review: This was truly one of the best books I have ever read. At times I couldn't put the book down! I even went so far as to laugh out loud from time to time. I would most definitely recommend this book to anyone who has struggled to "keep it real." MUST READ TO BELIEVE!!

Review: WHEN I FIRST MEANT ERIC PETE IN ATLANTA I HAVE TO ADMIT I WAS SCARD TO BUY HIS BOOK BECAUSE NEW WRITERS ALWAYS SEEM TO DRAG IN THEIR WRITING. BOY! WAS I WRONG ABOUT HIM. WITHIN THE FIRST 24HRS I HAD ALREADY READ MORE THAN HALF THE BOOK. YOU JUST CAN'T PUT IT DOWN. HIS CHARACTERS WERE SO FUNNY I FOUND MYSELF LAUGHING OUTLOUD. I DON'T NO ABOUT YOU GUYS BUT I AM EAGERLY WAITING FOR THE NEXT BOOK BY PETE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
