Review: I enjoyed the book because it explored relationships not just male and female, but between girlfriends and men and their boys. Maxwell was refreshing because he tried to do the right thing and was a genuine good guy; loyal to his friends and family and treated women right. Glover needed to be real with herself to find out what she needed to be happy. Smitty was a good friend to Max and always had his back! Our book club enjoyed reading and discussing this book last month. Keep up the good work!!

Review: I think this was a great first novel! The characters were well developed and interesting people. I particulary enjoyed Pete's writing style, which let you know each character's inner thoughts and feelings AFTER the scene. What a unique approach! His next novel is a definite must read for me!

Review: i thoroughly enjoyed this book. it captures the same realness as a eric j dicky book. the characters are so thought out. each one has there own personality. reading this book made me feel that i was a part of the story line.i couldn't put it down, the plot flowed evenly till where i couldn't wait to find out the outcome. the author really took his time with the process. i loved the way he gave the characters there own little chapters for the reader to see what each person felt about the same event. what i also liked was how the author used things from his life in his book such as the college and church he use to attended. that shows that the author uses some truth to his book i recommand every one to read this book because i feel this author will be around for a long time
