Summary: I read it 10 years ago and it still feels like yesterday.!
Review: I read this fantastic book more than 10 years ago. In fact, it was the first romance novel I ever read, and thanks to that book, I am now an avid reader and collector of books. This novel tells a funny and exquisitely romantic tale of a woman coming to meet her future husband. When she arrives she is greeted by no less than her future father-in-law and brother-in-law and word that her husband-to-be 0has run off and become a priest. As one can guess, she starts a whirlwind journey with her 'brother-in-law-to-be' and anything and everything does happen. Unfortunately my mother threw out this novel and/or sold it at a garage sale. All I can hope is that one special person will read this, recognize the story, and will contact me. I will pay for this novel as it is no longer available from the publisher. To strike your memory, he does wood work and she stays in a room where he carved the woodwork. One of the cannonballs is 'shaped like a lemon'. Does this sound familiar?? If you do have it, read it again and then let me know!!!!!!!!!!!!!
