Summary: HOT!!!
Review: The steamy scenes in this book are sure to get your heart racing. Unfortunately, the plot was a little over the top and kind of stupid. It was just so ridiculous. Sometimes I found it hard to concentrate on the great chemistry the two main characters had when it was happening in a harem full of naked girls unknowingly waiting to be eaten by a vampire! And the two of them having sex in front of this vampire sheik or whatever he was just creeped me out. Plus, the "hero" kept calling the heroine horribly nasty names up to the very last page. That isn't erotic OR romantic!
I realize some of my comments kinda contradict each other...and I apologize. I'm just not sure what I really think about this book. I guess the one thing I can say for sure is that if you want a book with hot sex scenes aplenty, "Sinful Secrets" is for you!
Also, I think the book should have some kind of disclosure: WARNING: Reading "Sinful Secrets" will make you wish your boyfriend/husband was as...ahem...virile as the hero in this book is!

Summary: MS. DEVINE KNOWS HOW TO WRITE A EROTIC THRILLER
Review: THEA SURE DELIVERED WITH THIS STORY. I THOUGHT THE STORY ABOUT VAMPIRES WAS VERY GOOD. SHE PUTS THE SUPERNATURAL AND A MYSTERY INTO HER BOOKS THAT MAKES FOR A VERY WELL TOLD STORY. SAYRA AND DECLAN ARE VERY HOT INDIVIDUALS. HER LOVE SCENES ARE THE KIND TO WARM ANYONE ON A COLD WINTER NIGHT. SHE IS MY NEW FAVORITE EROTIC AUTHOR UP THERE WITH VIRGINIA HENLEY, SUSAN JOHNSON, AND BERTRICE SMALL.

Review: This is my first (probably last) Thea Devine book. This author was mentioned when I did a search for books similar to the ones Robin Schone writes. I'd just finished her book "The Lover" and was looking for something similar and was greatly disappointed in Ms. Devine's work.There didn't seem to be much of a plot, was rather boring in parts. The so called steamy scenes weren't very interesting and were just thrown in a half hazardous way -- rather mechanical -- they undress, he calls her that harem name over and over again. The book seemed to jump all over the place with no real plot and the ending just left me confused. Wasn't really a happily ever after story.

Review: This is one of the worst romance novels I have ever read. I am thoroughlly surprised that I finished it, and the only reason that I did was to try to understand the plot. The scenes were poorly described, and the overall book left you with a "did I miss something?" feeling. The characters were totally bewildering, They were so far off what any human would truly act like it wasn't even a good attempt at fiction. This was a poorly written book all around. I read this book after having heard that Thea Devine was a great romance writer, I am sorely disappointed. My only consolation in that I didn't pay to read that drivel and can return it to the library.

Review: This started off intriguing but quickly devolved to a waste of time - very skimpy and obvious plot - just an excuse to write sex scenes which actually became boring due to the repetiton - no basic male-female understanding - no insight into the main female's character - is Thea Devine actually a woman or a consortium of men writing under that name?

Review: WOW, this book is really great reading. I'm glad that there are the likes of Thea Devine who understands a woman's secret fantasies. There are only a handfull romance authors out there who are courageous enough to write sexy and sensual novels which a lot of romance readers crave and enjoy. More power to Thea Devine and keep on writing.
