Summary: THE BEST FOR LAST was a labor of love.
Review:

I enjoyed writing this story more than this space will allow me to say. I am thrilled with the cards and letters readers (and writers) have so generously taken the time to send. Thank you for enjoying Noelle and Jamal's story. Like you, I am eagerly anticipating Pat and Morgan's next moves.

Thank you again for all your support.

Summary: We need more stars!!!!!!!
Review: Excellent. I can't say that anything in this story was what I expected. I can say that I am impressed with the intensity of emotion I found in this story. I am only sorry about two things. First, I waited so long to read it. Second, I wanted more, and I guess that's my only complaint. Sequel?? Soon?? Pat and Morgan??

Summary: Memorable!!
Review: I confess. I am and have always been a romantic, and not one of the ones who had the good sense to hide it in a closet or somewhere. I love stories about beautiful women who survive and live happily ever after in the arms of glorious men. It has always been one of my personal goals to do so myself -- but if I can't (right now), I will settle for reading about it.

Ms. McFarland has given me a good story that makes sense from start to finish, and she has done it with people who are enough like me to make me believe in them. One of my friends called this story "real" and I agree with her. We are real and not (exactly) perfect (if you can be lieve it), and so we liked seeing ourselves in this book.

The only thing that woud have made it better is if it would have been longer. But, that's okay because I have already mailed my letter asking for a sequel. You know how it is. Inquiring minds want to know!

Summary: In a word: FABULOUS!!!
Review: I know romance novels usually end on a positive note. It's a prerequisite, right? But, this tale had me on the edge of my seat, wondering if it would have a happy ending, or not. Great writing, great visualization, superb characters. Noelle and Jamal are so good together. I'm waiting to hear more about Pat and Morgan. Pat was the best friend of all best friends! This story has suspense, drama, a tight plot. Read it, I'm sure you'll agree with this lowly reviewer's opinion.

Summary: I loved it!!
Review: I loved the way Gail told this story. It was a wonderful story. The story keeps your interest from beginning to end. There is not a dead moment in this whole story. Truly the best one yet.

I can't wait until a sequel is written. Can we vote on this one becoming a move. I would love to see this one become a movie. Just tell me where I can cast my vote at.

Summary: Wonderful
Review: I truly enjoyed this book. The characters seem true and down to earth, Their emotions ran from fear to a deep love for each other, and everything in between. I am sure others will enjoy this book and author just as much as I.

Summary: A guardian Angel saved the best for last.
Review: I was skeptical when I first began this book, because it took me a while to get off to a good reading start. In actuality, I think it took me about four days to read the whole book, longer than any others. There have been a few books like this case, where I couldn't keep interest in it and simply quit. But this book drew me in, I was intrigued by the level of detail that Ms. McFarland put into the 'system' that supposedly does the right thing, for the child. I loved Noelle and Jamal, they were such loving individuals with so much to give. The certainty of love that's conveyed "blew my socks off", especially on p. 188. I laughed, I cried, not many books bring out that side of me, but this book is somehow different - I'm not sure why it took me so long to read, maybe you will or will not relate to me when you also read this wonderful love story, I'm just suggesting that you do get this one (it's a keepa'!!) This book's not filled with lusty characters, ready at a minutes notice to jump in the sack, it simply conveys love in its purest form.

Summary: I did save "THE BEST FOR LAST"
Review: If you're reading this review, pay close careful attention to what I'm about to write. Are paying attention? I hope so, because if you're not you'll definately loose out on one of the best written romance novels in the western world! I must admit, I got my hands on this book a little late. But the title is "BEST FOR LAST". I thought Gail McFarland did a fantastic job on "WHEN LOVE CALLS" (another must read!) and "SUMMER WIND", but she truely outdone herself when it came to the lives of Noelle and Jamal. They were so perfect together. Ms. McFarland truely captured my heart with this book. I smiled, I cried, I laughed, I experienced every emotion possible. (You do know, only good books can do that for you?) I cannot emphasize this enough, BUY THIS BOOK! To describe in one sentence...It's a modern day version of white nights galloping in to save the damsel in distress, but with some serious flava added.

WARNING LADIES: In case the fortunate event comes along and you actually find Jamal, you should know--married or not--I have already called first dibs.
