Review: I gave my mother Silicon Secrets to read, and when I called her to see how she liked it, she said she thought Silicon Secrets was a little, "slutty," but when I called her the next day, she was still reading it, and when I called her the next day ... same thing ... hmmm. I think she liked it.

Review: I just finished reading Silicon Secrets by Catherine Burr, and I'd place it right up there with the style of Carol Higgens Clark, another best selling author. What secret do these authors have, that hold our attention from the beginning of the story to the end. I loved the fast-paced, action-packed, intrigue, the glamour and lifestyles of the rich and famous. I recommend Silicon Secrets to be added to your reading list!

Review: I love to read books. Silicon Secrets is a book that has everything in it; romance, mystery, intrigue, glamour, not to mention characters and places that are brought to life. My cousin read me over the phone the titillating description on the back cover, and that was enough for me to order it. When the book arrived, I couldn't wait to read it. I started reading it right after dinner, and stayed up into the night until I finished it. I couldn't put it down! I give Silicon Secrets and its author, Catherine Burr, a high five.

Summary: Lucky - good guy or bad?
Review: I loved reading Catherine Burr's work. I developed a love-hate relationship with Lucky. At times he seemed like such a selfish S.O.B., while at others he showed genuine feelings of love and warmth. It's not every author who can elicit roller-coaster emotions from her readers, but Catherine did a marvelous job. I'm looking forward to reading more of her work.

Review: I loved the Characters in Silicon Secrets, and the way the story climaxed into a surprise ending. There was Lucky who I couldn't decide whether to hate or love; Heather, the sweet one with the secret life; and J.J. who was one of those people you marvel at like a somewhat wicked fantasy. The story had a touching concept. I can see Catherine Burr's exceptional talent for writing in this, her first novel, and I am looking forward to reading more of her writing.

Review: I ordered this book thinking it was a tell-all about the inside secrets of major Silicon Valley players, such as Larry Ellison and Steve Jobs, but was surprised that Silicon Secrets is actually a traditional love story. The main character, Lucky, is a man that, since childhood, has an anger building inside of him to the point of explosion. Fleeing a nightmarish existence, he arrives in America with little money, but a burning desire for success. Lucky does what he feels he must for success, not unlike many of the so-called movers and shakers in Silicon Valley. The fun part of reading this book is trying to determine if the characters in this book are in fact based on real people in Silicon Valley, and who they might be ...

Review: I read this book a first time, then read it again a second time I loved it so much. The author covered many ideas and details that made it seem real.
