Summary: LESSONS IN SHARING LOVE, ALWAYS
Review: After reading the back cover of Luvalwayz, I expected to read three separate short stories about 3 different couples, what I got was a connected treat. This is one story written in 3 parts, about 3 young women best friends for life, and 3 guys super tight from college days. Each group refers to themselves as the three musketeers.

Part 1, Christopher and Tamara "Tee" met in the park, once he mustered up enough nerve to introduce himself. Tamara has a good example of a healthy relationship, from her parents, but she doesn't share their luck. Both Chris and Tee bring baggage to the relationship and struggle to trust each other, especially when Tee catches him in a compromising situation almost with his pants down, literally. Neither wants to be the first to say the 'L' word.

Part 2, Jamal, militant and upfront about himself, catches the eye of girl from the hood, Shameika, who is the ultimate playa. Her motto is hit and run, her problem is Jamal is getting into her head and she is so afraid of being exposed to love, she runs over herself trying to get away from him. But, maybe he's what she needs to conquer her past.

Part 3, Stephen and Deandra, have to meet because they are best friends with the other two couples. Stephen is interested, but Stephen is always interested, he is an equal opportunity lover, does not discriminate. Deandra is career dedicated from the word go and does not have time for his playa, playa mentality. But a family emergency sends Deandra seeking Stephen's professional help and now she finds her heart needing some protection.

This is a wonderfully written story with real issues and soulful feelings. Each part is carried over into the next, and you share the lives of the 2 sets of best friends that is so connected, you barely realize when you are deep in the life of another couple. I love the writing style of Shonell Bacon and JDaniels, it is crisp and entertaining, this book is an excellent introduction to the debut authors. And as they tossed their hat into the literary arena, they will undobutedly be a force that the literary world will have to reckon with.

Summary: Not your ordinary story! Will take your breath away!
Review: All I have to say is that Shonell Bacon and JDaniels are too good!! I read Addicted by Zane and craved for more when I came upon this book. This is a must read for all of us who were tired of the same ofld stories! I related to alot of what was going on and I absolutely fell in love with Chris, Joop and Stephen! Those brothers played tricks on my imagination from beginning to end. Can you tell me where I can find a bottle of that kind of foine?!!!!!! Mmm Mmm Mmmm! I loved this book so much that I have bought several copies for friends. It definitely is high on my recommendation list because it is up there with the books that you just cannot put down until you finish. Read and relate to the world of these six fascinating people!

I cannot wait for the sequels!

luv alwayz!

Summary: Don't Waste Your Money
Review: Don't waste your money on this one. As a writer, I hate to bash fellow writers but the book contained too many characters doing too many different things to make much sense. The writing was choppy and frustrating and I could tell two people were writing it who were not in sync. There were one or characters I enjoyed, but the plot was weak for the most part and the story development was non-existent. The authors should take the time to take a few writing courses and then try again. I respect their effort, but the end result of the writing was poor and their inexperience showed. I recommend getting this one from the library, but I would be willing to read their next effort.

Summary: I LOVED "Luvalwayz"!!!
Review: I absolutely loved - and HIGHLY recommend - this book! Because it is written from both the woman's (Shonell) AND the man's (JDaniels) perspective, you have a unique collaborative effort, which gives both sides of the story of how love connections are formed...and how our true friendships sustain us.

It was particularly interesting to me to see how MEN view falling in love...

The tight friendships between Tamara, Shameika and Deandra - and Chris, Joop, and Stephen, are interwoven with their various comings-together in a wonderfully sexy, warm, inviting and BELIEVABLE story...and it is refreshing to see a Black relationship novel which does NOT focus on the stereotypical negatives!

I eagerly await the sequel - these are characters I grew to care about, and I want to know what's happening with them!

Congratulations to Shonell and JDaniels on a SUPERB first novel!!!

Summary: GREAT !!
Review: I absolutely LOVED, LUVALWAYZ !!....

I liked the way the characters were all introduced into their parts when the time came. Although Shonell and JDaniels were writing separate parts, they bought them together so well it was as if there was only one writer. I felt as if i knew each character during the whole book, it was so real to life. Like people we all know, although keeping the book the romance novel, but at the same time making you feel like parts were really the writers lives. I had such a hard time putting the book down at times.

I think they did an EXCELLENT job with LUVALWAYZ, and I look forward to seeing more books out by both authors, even with separate books and ideas, although they work so well together.

If you're looking 4REAL, this is the book to read.

Summary: Wow!
Review: I had heard good things about this book, and finally was able to read it. I have to say I was not disappointed. Shonell Bacon and JDaniels are two writers on the brink of literary stardom!

Summary: THESE SISTAS REALLY WORKED THIS NOVEL!!!!
Review: I happened to take this book off the shelves over my desk at work this weekend after telling myself "Yeah, I'll read it eventually." CONFESSION: I shouldn't have been such a procrastinator. The loves scenes had me sweating, and its not often so many positive male characters are depicted in one novel. Women, there are wonderful men out there!!! And no, they're not just in novels.

Shonell and JD did an excellent job weaving into the many character's lives. You have got to read about, Joop and Sha, Chris and Tamara, and Stephen and Deandra, YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!!!! Can't wait for the sequel!!!!

Summary: Well deserved sucess!
Review: I have to tell everyone who hasn't read this book to go out and get it, it's da bomb!

Chris is every girls dream, a true brotha, despite his imperfections. Joop was the next best thing to Eric Benet. Stephen, bald headed Mista Lova Lova!

Tamara had a lot of issues, but she's interesting. Shameika was ghettofabulous! Deandra shows all of us that black women can succeed and find luvalwayz.

In conclusion, the whole novel was put together perfectly, and I can't wait for the next Luvalwayz novel! 5 starz, and congratulations Shonell and JD!

Summary: Almost the worst book I have read in a while
Review: I initially purchased this book because of the reviews on it. It sounded like something I would definitely enjoy. I am disappointed. This book is suppose to be three love stories. The stories are boring and repetitive. Tamara and Chris, which is the first story, was so boring I was hoping the story would finally end so that I can get to another. Tamara and Chris dealt with one situation and it just kept talking about the same ole problem and repeating how they felt about each other. There was no real drama, as far as relationship goes. I was looking to be entertained with the drama and possibly making up of the couples. It was boring. Now Shameika and Joop do have some hot sex scenes in the book. Their story is better than Tamara's and Chris' story. It would be good to me if a story was told, with different situations, ups and downs, something besides what they think about one particular issue. This story followed the same pattern. (repetitive) Zane or Michael Baisden, please write another book, I am dying out here!!!

Summary: Wowwwwwww!
Review: I loved this book. It had everything I feel a good romance should have, and more. The characters were realistic, and easy to relate too, and I absolutely fell in love with Stephen Lewis.
Sequel please!
