Rating: Summary: Don't let this be the ony one. Review: I loved this book the first time I read it. I just found out that the author wanted to continue with Rand's story but the publisher didn't want anouther Futuristic novel. If you check in the back of the book you can get Kristen Kyle's E-mail address. If your like me and would love to see the her finish the series ( Jhase's story was after Rand's) mail her and recomened that she contact ImaJinn Books or better yet write the publisher that turned her down. Don't let the story end this way.
Rating: Summary: Poor romance, poor science fiction--no starts at all Review: I was looking forward to one of my favorite fusions, but this isn't it. Very disappointing. I would suggest Dara Joy books and Johanna Lindsey's Keeper of the Heart duo instead.
Rating: Summary: Couldn't put it down. Review: I'm not a huge fan of futuristics, but this novel rocked my world. There's no way this book could have been any better. The hero and heroine were great--they bantered nonstop and connected with me on a completely emotional level. I stayed up all night to finish Nighthawk, and I was sobbing with joy (and maybe a little exhaustion) by the end. The plot is half Star Wars (tangled family lines and surprise forebears popping up when least expected amid spectacular battles in space and on exotic-sounding planets), and half Chippendales calendar, with new and appealing heros of future Kristen Kyle novels dropping in frequently. Can't wait for the sequel about Rand!
Do yourself a favor and read this book now.
Rating: Summary: Hooked from the first page! Review: I've only recently become a fan of futuristic romance (Star King and Star Prince by Susan Grant were outstanding!)and Nighthawk got me going on the first page. If you are a Star Wars fan you will be able to identify and the romance was great. Kari fought her feelings for Talon due to loyalty to her father and how she had been taught all of her life. Talon was a great hero that was smart, strong, loyal, & sensitive. It shows how we are shaped by how were grow up and the things that we experience. I have my fingers crossed that there will be a couple more books to read before Kristen Kyle is finished with this.
Rating: Summary: Worthy of its awards!!! Review: If you like futuristic romances, this one is a must have!! It's sweet, sexy, and original (which I sadly can't say about many books on the market). One thing I can say about this book, if this is the author's first book, she's going to be hot, Hot, HOT as she gets more out!!! :-)Sarah P
Rating: Summary: One of the best SF Romances on the shelf. Review: Nighthawk is a fast-paced, well-written novel with all of the familiar elements of SF plus the heat of Romance. Kristen Kyle delivers a first-rate story.
Rating: Summary: Dazzling! Review: The breathless action, complex characters and intriguing plot line sucked me in from the start and didn't let me go until the end. Rogue smuggler Talon is to die for. Kari Solis is a strong, independent heroine with something to prove. When these two intriguing characters get together, the sparks fly--and the romance heats up. A wonderful read I highly recommend. I can't wait for Kristen Kyle's next book!
Rating: Summary: A HIGHLY RECOMMENDED SF ROMANCE Review: This book has it all. Two strong, independent protagonists - complex, intriguing secondary characters - and non-stop action. It's sexy, fast-paced, imaginative, and cool. I can't wait to transport through the solar system with Ms. Kyle's next book!
Rating: Summary: Buy it, read it, LOVE it! Review: This book is WAY great! I am a life-long SF fan, who finally decided to overcome foolish prejudice and look into the romance section--and I'm SO glad I did! The story is strong, there's enough action and space opera to satisfy any SF fan, and the romance was GREAT! AND the door was left open for sequels! I'll be eagerly looking for more! I can't recommend this book highly enough.
