Rating: Summary: A slow start but ends perfectly Review: The story starts slowly but picks up towards the middle of the book, but saying that it is a very good read. Pam brings together Immortals and time-travel wonderfully. The characters are well developed by Pam, even the secondary characters. The book makes you believe all that is writen about the Loch Ness Monster as the gardian of the Immortals. If she wasn't so slow developing the characters in the beginning I would give the book 5 stars instead of 4 stars. Sorry Pam. I would like to see more books for the other characters in the book.
Rating: Summary: Good Read Review: The story was good, I could not put it down. But towards the ending it kind off looses a little of the magic. The ending needed more a little dissapointed towards the end.
Rating: Summary: A romance that could have had potential... Review: This book links to reality more than many "time travel" novels. It leaves you with a wonderful feeling of "maybe it could happen if....". Truly a hard to put down book, I spent an entire weekend sneaking time out of other things to finish it!
Rating: Summary: A True Time Travel Romance Review: This book links to reality more than many "time travel" novels. It leaves you with a wonderful feeling of "maybe it could happen if....". Truly a hard to put down book, I spent an entire weekend sneaking time out of other things to finish it!
Rating: Summary: Good Read Review: This was a very sweet story with well developed characters and an interesting plot. The only reason I didn't give it a five was because it wasn't as steamy as I prefer. (In my opinion, Lynn Kurland is the only romance author who cranks out five stars without sex scenes and that's because her books are humorous enough and emotional enough to counterbalance it.)This is the perfect book for someone looking for a sweet story and/or for someone whose religious beliefs dictate that they shouldn't read R or PG13 material. If, however, you prefer a little spice, look elsewhere. To be honest, I read steamier novels in highschool Lit class.
Rating: Summary: Great story! Great characters! Review: Unlike the other reviewer, I was initially put off by the cover, it seemed unpolished and a bit ametuerish. I recieved the book as a gift and only read it after running out of other reading material. What a mistake! This is a great story, good character development, lots of history, and a wonderful love story. I'd reccomend it to anyone who loves history, sci-fi, or just a good love story!
