Summary: fun tale
Review: Author Faith Bonner is quiet and mousy, but her audacious heroine of her novels, Zoe Wilder is brash and sexy. Faith is expected to act like Zoe at a Wilder murder mystery weekend gala, but the writer doubts she can pull off such a stunt. At the mountain lodge, an accident occurs that makes Faith believe she is sexy Zoe.

Though he is attracted to her, lodge owner Lex Ellenberg wants to avoid Faith during the weekend event. However, after the accident, Zoe tries to seduce him and he wants to be seduced by her. Still his nagging conscience reminds him that Zoe is really Faith and he should not take advantage of her. Still he is not stone and her temptation makes him decides romancing the author for one UNFORGETTABLE night is worth her reaction when she recovers her memory, but wonders if one evening is enough.

Though the amnesia theme may seem trite at first glimpse, Rhonda Nelson refreshes the premise with the twist that the heroine thinks she is the character of her novels. Two opposites could not exist as far apart as Faith and Zoe, which is part of the fun. Lex is a delightful protagonist who likes Faith and feels Zoe is over the edge, but wants both in one charming package. Yet when he has a chance to make love, he finds the temptation unbelievable because he wants Faith for more than just for one night, but fears how she will react if he makes it with her alter ego siren Zoe once she regains her memory. This is a fun tale starring a wonderful male and a schizoid female.
