Review: This book is the first of its kind that I have read. Susan Carrol is an excellent writer and gave me several characters that I loved and that I hated. The hero and heroine are the most mixed couple around but when they finally get it right their world get twisted by a vision from Anatole's sword. It was a fascinatingread and I would recommend it to anyone who likes fantasy and romance with a good dose of mystery and drama.

Review: In my opinion the best books are the ones that either make you laugh out loud or cry your way through a box a tissues. This book did that for me. I was completely absorbed by this book. The character are so real that you don't want the book to end because you want to keep in contact with your new friends. I am waiting not so patiently for the next one.

Review: This is how the books should be written. I owe over 150 romance books and have read many more but this one is out of this world. So very special. The characters are so real, the story so magical - you just wish it never ends. Just cannot wait for the sequel - THE NIGHT DRIFTER. Long 5 months to go. I usually don't buy hard cover books but this one was definitely worth it. Highly recommended.

Review: The Bride Finder is the best book I have read this year. It kept me on the edge of my seat to see what Anatole would do next and how Madeline would handle it. This book combines everything I look for in a book-romance, gothic, adventure, mystery-to a gothic-like setting. It is spooky but funny and wonderful at the same time. My favorite part would have to be when Anatole was going to destroy that painting of the ghost of the castle and the ghost prevented it. It scared Madeline terribly. This book is truly a great book even with it's romantic content. My sister-in-law dosen't even read romance, but she loved The Bride Finder. She said it had a killer plot and it does because it nearly killed me unti I found out what was going on! All I can ask Susan Carrol is this:Can we be expecting a sequel of some type? Review: The Bride Finder is a truly outstanding book. I found Madeline a wonderfully refreshing character, she was intelligent & giving. Anatole, though dark & brooding, displayed a depth of character rarely seen. I loved the idea of a Bride Finder, found it very romantic. I also enjoyed the magic & legends in the story. I found all secondary characters intriguing & the plot twists truly surprised me. I was saddened when I reached the last page, I wanted to spend more time with these characters. This is a must-read book!

Review: Having been a romance reader since junior high and an editor of romance novels for the last several years, I've read and loved a lot of books. Of all of them, though, The Bride Finder truly stands out as extra special for me. This manuscript was one of the first things I read when I began my new job at Ballantine, and I couldn't believe my good fortune to be working with this fabulous author. There is something magical about Susan Carroll and the characters she has created in this book. They are so real and vivid, they will stay with you long after you've finished. And there is a freshness to her story that reminds you why you started reading romance in the first place. Don't miss this spectacular book!

Review: One of few really good books out at this time. Hopefully, the author will produce more along this line. It is comparible with Devil's Bride by S.Laurens. The author was able to grab your attention from the first of the book and hold it through to the end. A reasonably fast paced and throughly enjoyable read.

Review: This was an excellent book that I accidently fell upon. What a great find. I even talked my husband into reading it! I read it in two evenings, and wished it wouldn't have ended so quickly. I was a great mix of romance with mystery and science fiction. I can't wait for her to write another book.
