Summary: Disappointed
Review: I have read the previous two novels written before this novel takes place and I was excited to read the next installment. Was I ever disappointed. If you want to read a novel where the main hero keeps putting down the heroine while he still has "meaningful" sex with her, then this is for you. Personally, I couldn't stand the hero, and by the end, I was hoping she would die because any thought of staying with this man in a "happy ever after" would be a death sentence either way. As for the heroine, she is trying to help but everything she does seems to anger the hero to the point he is blaming her for everything it seems. Near the end of the novel even her best friend pitied her. I kept reading it hoping the hero would be redeemed in some way for his past behavior, but the end was unsatisfying and short.

Summary: This book is one of the best I have read in a long long time
Review: Ms. Cane really lets you see in the characters backrounds and how they think. If you are in the mood for pulse pounding and romance I would suggest this book.
