Rating: Summary: Awesome, Exciting, and Fulfilling! Review: A definite page turner!!! Bill Reina is able to get into the hearts and minds of his characters that takes his reader on a journey of excitement, lonliness, and love. It is not until the surprise finale that you realize the ride you have been on and wish would never end. Bill, I'm hoping for a sequel!!
Rating: Summary: It would Make a Good Movie Review: A surpirisingly accurate portrayal of some of what I know to be true of life in poor southern mountain states. The author seems to say that it is genetics and history that create peoples values and character or the lack of it. Once the slide begins it can go unchecked into a very dark place or be halted by something or somebody if the conditions are right. Fast paced and very engaging. A good story that could be a really great movie.
Rating: Summary: Good story, Complex Characters Review: Caverns is a good read. The book is much more than just a romance novel. It is suspensful and filled with twists and turns that keep it interesting right until the end. The characters in the book are fascinatingly flawed. That's what makes them so interesting. It is hard to decide whether to love or hate them and at times you do both. Good insights into men and woman, life in general and business are woven throughout the story. Themes are modern and cover the full gamet of emotion. Some readers may be offended by some of the themes which show the dark side of human nature, but most will understand that Reina is just shining a light into corners many of us don't want to look in. I think the appeal of the book will be to both men and woman as there is ample mystery, sex, suspense, action and romance to peak the interests of both genders. The author uses language in a way that really puts you in the scene. His narration is vivid and detailed. You know the characters and what motivates them and only have to judge if their sometimes abberant behavior is justified by their histories. Overall, a worthwhile and enjoyable story that is well told. Definitely worth a look. JT
Rating: Summary: Intriguing and Captivating! Review: I found this book to be very intriguing and suspenseful. It completely captivates you from page one. Stolen moments from my family were rewarded by discovering the multi-faceted characters and feeling as if I had stepped into their world and personally knew them. Sadness and mystery are woven into the lives of each character ... absorbing the reader so that they feel like they must get to the end. Once there, long kept secrets are unveiled and a surprise ending leaves you on the edge!
Rating: Summary: Thought provoking and gripping Review: I thought this book was truly insightful. Any reader will be able to relate to some aspect of this book whether it be love, betrayal, self exploration or drive. From the minute I picked this book up and read through the opening chapters I was hooked. I was able to relate to the many aspects of the book in regards to soul searching and career drive. From the opening and CAG stock to the Cayman Islands, this book had my full attention. I read the 480+ pages in just 2 days. I recommend this book to anyone who wonders about things larger than themselves and what lengths people will go to in order to show love or cover things that they may have done in their past.

Rating: Summary: Caverns Review: The novel is full of guessing, events that take place lead to many different possible outcomes that are not so predictable. The author manages to have lives so eventfull, full of excitement, and drama that is so intense however it still stays within the realm of possibility. The characters in the book are both flawless and have great flaws. The flaws that they have are brought out by the author to increase the charaters personality. It makes them so real you start to think you actually know the person. When infact doing this makes them perfect characters. The novel is full of morals of life and you will be stunned at how well anyone can relate to some of the events in the story. Caverns is a great book to read, enjoy, and learn from.
Rating: Summary: Suspense and Surprise Review: This novel has it all: love, lust and betrayal, corruption and redemption, desperation and hope. The reader is gripped by the fast moving plot, full of suspense and surprise. The complex, intriguing characters keep the reader in their ban as they struggle through their lives' challenges, haunted by their contrasting backgrounds and upbringing. We witness their journey from empty self-centeredness, loneliness and desperation to growth, love, service and meaning. We also see how those who have been hurt too much fall prey to their inner demons and fail to redeem themselves. By the end of the novel the main characters have become like friends we want to stay in touch with as we have been through so much together.
