Summary: Worst female character I can remember
Review: I looked forward to Lorenzo's story, after reading the Phantom Affair, which was a wonderful book. But I can't even keep reading this one. This Valeria person irritates me so much (and her nephew) that I just HOPE Lorenzo doesn't wind up with her. Every time she wants to have a party (in someone elses home, who likes solitude) I just want to scream, and set the book aside. I'm going to quit reading and make up my own ending, where she and her obnoxious nephew get packed off to the village dandy, and she can have parties to her hearts content. Then, I'll invent the kind of woman Lorenzo deserves. This book is AWFUL. Save your money.
