Summary: In memory of you
Review: "After looking deep into her eyes just before we departed that day, I knew right there and then that she was the one that had captured me. That feeling cannot be placed into words and I would never attempt to try."

Charles Marshall is in love with a beautiful girl named Cindy Beck. He knows he has to write her and tell her how he feels, but he is rather shy. After overcoming his shyness he writes her a simple note. Soon the two meet and fall madly in love. This story follows their lives through high school and then up their engagement.

Then the unthinkable occurs.

This is book will be interesting to anyone who is considering joining the military or who is experiencing a separation from the one they love. It also gives some insight into the thoughts of a person in pain. The way in which Charles is not able to connect emotionally shows how hurt he was. He probably broke a lot of hearts on his journey to find the love of his life. That first love he lost. How could anyone compare?

Before I left, we kissed one last time to finish a memorable night. She whispered into my ear, "Never forget our promise. I will always love you."

A sad story of everlasting love that wasn't meant to last. This book is written from Charles' perspective and is his memory of the woman he loved.

Summary: Restore Your Faith in True Love
Review: "Unforgettable" lives up to its name, and then some. This poignant love story is told from the point of view of a shy young man named Charles, who tells the tale of how he met and fell in love with his high school sweetheart, Cindy. While growing up in a small town in Arizona has both good and bad points, it lends a very special atmosphere to this exceptionally sweet love story. Charles helps Cindy train for the "Miss Rodeo Queen" contest, and overcomes his shyness to join her on stage at school to sing a duet. Cindy and Charles also share special time together on picnics, parties, dances, and camping as their love for one another deepens in their idyllic high school years.

Unexpected twists and turns of fate cause emotional and physical upheaval in Cindy and Charles' lives following graduation from high school. Even so, the romance shared by these two young lovers eventually proves its power for transcending all obstacles -- even death. "Unforgettable" may well have you crying tears of release by the end of the book, as it did for me. This book will help restore your faith in the power of love, and will bring you a greater sense of what really matters in life -- making it unforgettable.

Summary: Endless Love
Review: "Everyone has had at least one moment in their life that has forever changed their destiny." That magical moment for Charles is when Cindy Beck smiles at him on his first day of high school. The shy Charles never dreams that Cindy would ever look his way, but she does. He eventually musters enough courage to send her a note, telling her how beautiful she is, and how much he longs to talk with her. Cindy, as any female worth her salt would do, allows him several excruciating days filled with worry that he has made a fool of himself before sending her reply. Relief comes to Charles as he learns that Cindy sees something special in him, something that perhaps his own family has never taken the time to notice.

As love flourishes, Charles finds himself through the eyes of Cindy. Her spirit brings out the conquering Romeo in him, and he feels there is nothing he cannot do as long as Cindy is by his side. As Charles and Cindy encourage each other through high school, their bond becomes strong. High school ends, plans are made, and dreams are dreamed.

Charles heads out for six months of basic training with the military, wondering how he will survive the next six months without her. After arriving at his destination, he meets James, who becomes his best friend there. James has no family, and as the Christmas holiday arrives, Charles asks him to fly back home with him to meet Cindy. As fate would have it, the plane ride home does not run smoothly, and Charles' last request to James is that James take his dog tags to Cindy if anything happens to him.

Two and a half years later, Charles wakes up from a coma to find that his friend James has perished in the crash, and Cindy, who believes that it was Charles who perished, cannot be found.

Fifteen years later Charles learns the truth about what happened to his precious Cindy. "I had the privelege to live a lifetime worth of memories in four short years with her."

This is truly the story of endless love, told from the heart of someone who will always carry the memories of Cindy's spirit, her compassion, her courage, and her love. I look forward to reading more work from Frederick A. Babb, for only a few authors were able to touch my heart as this author has done.

Summary: Cindy and Charles
Review: A very intriguing book that kept me spellbound. Page turner I could not put down. If you like romance mixed with a hint of mystery or the unknown factor, (won't give away book details here), this is a book that should keep you riveted.

The author is donating proceeds to Cancer Research to help in the fight against Cancer also.

Summary: Do you believe in Endless Love?
Review: Experiencing love is something that we all live for, whether we realize it or not. For without love, our life is empty and incomplete. If you want to experience a touching story about Love--a pure, first love inundating with sincerity and respect, read UNFORGETTABLE. This book tells the story of true love from the heart of Charles Marshall--a shy, teenage boy who, when he first saw the lovely Cindy Beck knew instantly, "That event changed the destiny of my life forever. Never again would I look at the world the same way." Isn't that what love does?

He HAS to tell her how he feels, especially since his "investigations" turn out to his liking. She has no boyfriend or hidden family secret; she's just beautiful, as he already knew, and has a wonderful personality. Charles decides to tell her "everything...in a note." The priceless note to Cindy is simple yet conveys all he wishes he could say to her face but is too shy to. It is the kind of note all women wish to receive. There are various events this young couple shares: two of my favorite being the talent show in which they sing to each other; as well as the camping trip in which Cindy reassures Charles when he lovingly whispers in her ear for her to never leave him with, "I will never, ever leave you. I promise for all eternity." Through it all, their unbreakable bond and unfaltering support of each other is what makes their love grow so deep and meaningful to them both (and to the reader.) There is wrenching pain and bottomless sorrow in the story but love is worth the pain. I've always believed that. Cindy kept her promise, for one doesn't have to be with another physically to cherish them forever in the spiritheart. Once you love, you can't stop loving. If you can, you never truly loved them in the first place.

For someone to write a story so precious is a noble and courageous thing and he is to be commended. My thanks to you, Frederick Babb. I can't wait to read your next book, TORN!

Soar! That's what anyone that ever truly loved you would want you to do. And you should, for them and yourself.

Summary: Refreshing
Review: I cannot believe that I would actually like a romance novel written by a man. I was expecting a story from a macho point of view. Frederick A. Babb surprised me with the delicate unfolding of a beautiful love story. His style of writing is unlike what I have seen in years. You can tell that his feelings were revealed as he shared his love and anguish in this story that travels through life and the many hardships a high school romance must endure to last in adulthood. I hope that Frederick A. Babb doesn't wait to long to publish his next novel. I am a new fan.

Summary: Where did this author come from?
Review: I cannot believe that this author has come out of nowhere to become the talk of our office. His book is nothing short of outstanding. I only wished that there weren't the occasional typo that 1st Books is famous for. However, they can be forgiven for this because they have open the path to what will in all reality become a new force in romance novels. I loved the story and really felt bad for Charles in the end. I wished that all stories could be as entertaining, caring and intriguing as this one was. If you haven't read it yet, don't waste anymore time and read it today. A must have for the romance reader!

Summary: This story is Unforgettable
Review: I don't like to read much other than poetry but this book is undoubtedly a brilliant book.
The book never lost my interest not even for a second. This book is about Charles Marshall
Who is in love with beautiful Cindy Beck. The book starts out describing a beautiful 14 year old who's eyes were windows to her soul and a shy boy who is afraid of making a complete idiot of himself. So Charles gets up the courage to send Cindy a note telling her of his feelings. Charles learns that Cindy sees something special in him too. The story moves along describing trials of high school. Then comes the time they both needed to decide of their future. Charles decides to list in the Arm forces and deals with the separation of Cindy for six months. The story gave me a warm feeling when Charles spoke to Cindy about his warmest memory of high school. You'll have to read the book to see what he says. However if you are a romantic like me it will warm your heart. Charles heads out for his six months of basic training; he meets James and invites him home to meet Cindy. This is when tragic hits and without revealing too much of the book the ending will have you in tears. This book revealed Fred Babb thoughts and emotions and is a book that truly touches the soul of all the people who read it. This story is about one man who finds himself through a woman. You will definitely want a box of tissues handy when you read this book. I was crying at the end of this book. This book grabs hold of you and doesn't let go. One of the most romantic love stories I have ever read. Kudos to Fred Babb, I look forward to reading more from this talented writer.
