Rating: Summary: Ths STAR is Rising. Review: "The Night The Stars Fell" is a cosmos of wonderful romance writing. Skillfully combining scintillating dialog, captivating characters and an emotionally compelling plot, Christina Kingston has crafted another star quality love story for her readers. Stars collide when Lord Blysdale, an intoxicating hero, who kindles a fire in the blood and inspires a "Consummation devoutly to be wished for," meets his ladylove Kate. Lady Katherine is an intelligent and beautiful young woman, dedicated to caring for her brothers. Kate is a chantelaine by day and a highwayman by night. When Fate brings Kate and Bly together she soon falls under the spell of her gallant hero, and they become allies in each other's quests. Christina Kingston has splendidly developed these soul mates. Lord Blysdale has many complex layers to him and a need for love that is palatable. His neglected childhood has left deep scars that only unconditional love can heal. A love Kate has in abundance. Dialog between Bly and Kate is wonderful. Using humor, Double Entendre, desire and a thread of sensitivity to hold it all together, Christina Kingston has woven an alluring veil of sensuality around conversations between Bly and Kate as well as throughout the story. Delicious French words like J'adore, Je T'aime, Cherie, Doucement come to mind when Kate and Bly are together. A sparkling assortment of characters is sprinkled like stardust though this action filled romance. Griswold, Blysdale's valet is a gem. Engaging characters from "Ride For The Roses" returned in "The Night The Stars Fell," which leads me to hope there will be a sequel. Christina Kingston is truly a gifted writer. Bravo Christina.

Rating: Summary: Exciting regency romance Review: Earl Chalfont "Bly" Blysdale travels to Cliffside seeking information about the disappearance of two of his few friends, Smythe and Mathers. However, a highwayman stops Bly's coach. The thief searches the coach, but leaves without taking anything. Bly is amused with the event. The next day, Bly arrives at the home of one of his former junior officers in the Peninsular War against Napoleon, Josh Clifton. There he meets and is attracted to Josh's competent sister Kate. As Bly seeks to find his lost comrades, Kate continues to hold up coaches in search of stolen jewels that will prove her sibling Hal is not a criminal. Kate and Bly soon fall in love, but both retain secrets that, if revealed, could easily destroy any relationship between them. THE NIGHT THE STARS FELL is an exciting Regency romance that stars two strong lead characters with personal agendas that interfere with their love for one another. The story line moves forward rather quickly due to the antics of Kate and Bly, protagonists that readers will like. Though Kate's hold-ups require a stretch (not because of her gender) due to the impossible logistics support system, Christina Kingston has written an enjoyable historical romance that will provide much gratification to sub-genre fans. Rating: Summary: The sun rises on this... Review: Five stars for the night the stars fell! You are in your prime, Christina. Can't wait for your next book. Thanks:)
Rating: Summary: The Night the Stars Fell Review: I loved the book. It had just the amount of intrigue and romance to keep you interested. This is the first book by Christina Kingston I have read. Would like to know if she is going to continue with the "Lucky Seven"? I read the book in one day and immediately went to the computer to see if she had any more about this group. If not, I hope she will consider doing them.
Rating: Summary: A REAL STAR! Review: Kate returned to her family home in Regency England expecting a chance to relax. Instead she runs the estate neglected by her oldest brother. She also plays highwayman, holding up carriages to find evidence she needs to help her second brother. The arrival of Bly only adds to her considerable stress. Bly has invited himself to the estate to find two old friends. As he searches for clues to their disappearance, he wonders what secrets Kate is hiding. The more he learns about her, the more he wants to shoulder her burdens. The pressure on Kate builds steadily, and despite her strength of character, it is clear that she is reaching her breaking point. Bly is an equally strong character, and they make a fascinating couple. Kate seems a bit slow to catch on after Bly identifies the villain, and the writing is a bit rough at times. However, the story shows great promise, and Christine Kingston will be a talent to watch.

Rating: Summary: Fantastic !!! Review: Ok... I thought I might put in my two cents worth.. It's a great book... The story does not start off slowly.. You practically get introduced to everyone in the first two chapters. What I liked about this book was that there was no big misunderstanding (which I hate!) Just the two characters gradually getting to know, like and fall in love with each other. I am seriously going to hunt down her previous book ' Ride with the Roses'
Rating: Summary: A REAL STAR! Review: The night the stars fell is wonderful! I couldn't put it down. Anything by Christina Kingston is definitely worth reading.
Rating: Summary: The Next Kensington novel Review: This wasn't my first read by this author and with the saga she's writing on "the Lucky Seven". I'm actually reading them out of order due to having no luck finding them. And this one is the moest recently finished.
But as for the review on this particular novel, it wasn't neccessarily my favorite she has written but worth the read for those who have the time to read it. This book holds enjoyable characters and Kingston's writing itself is lovely.
Four stars for a "you've heard it before" plot but with a different tone to is due to Kingston's talent.
