Rating: Summary: Undercover Love Review: Angel is a twenty-six-years-old, but with a very little work can pass for a teenager. That comes in handy, because Angel is a cop. She is undercover in a high school trying to bust a drug ring. One of the prime suspects is teacher, Jake Weston. Angel is really pushing him. She flirts with him and acts like a teenager with a crush around him. The problem is she does have a crush on him. Jake has seen problems with drugs at the school he teaches at. He is not sure what to do when he learns that Angel Morelli, one of the seniors is actually the same age as him. Perhaps she is involved in the problem. He watches her carefully, but at the same time is having a harder and harder time fighting his attraction to Angel, especially now that he knows she is old enough that it isn't illegal for him to date her. Something big is about to break and Angel's going to be in the middle of it.
Rating: Summary: Undercover Angel Review: I thoroughly enjoyed Undercover Angel because it has a great plot involving a very savy, albeit very young looking undercover cop, and a high school teacher/coach dedicated to his profession and the kids in his school. Sparks fly when Jake Weston finds himself attracted to the spunky, audacious new student in his class, and it rattles his cage, big time. He is too honorable to allow those feelings to continue toward a student, and yet---Angel Morelli has a few mature pearls of wisdom to pitch here and there. Is she who she says, just a tough foster kid from Trashtown, or is she someone entirely different? Is she involved in the suspected drug dealing in the school? Jake needs to find out before his heart lands him in deep trouble, both professionally and emotionally. The book is a great read, and I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys inspirational fiction.
Rating: Summary: only read if desperate Review: Okay, so girl cop goes undercover at a high school, falls for cute teacher, who in turn finds her intriguing as well... hasn't this been done before? Really, though, if it had been done better it still could have worked. It was a little too predictable, plus if a teacher comes onto me as his student, I don't care who he is - my respect level wouldn't just falter, it would nosedive.
Rating: Summary: Wonderful story! Review: This book was excellent! The hero and heroine were easy to relate to, the story moved quickly and it had a wonderful ending. I would highly recommend Undercover Angel to anyone!
Rating: Summary: okay... Review: This was one of those books that is good if you are going on a long trip...or busy watching kids by the pool...not really a book that will keep you up at night...
