Rating: Summary: Great Follow-On! Review: Ms. Copeland got down! She really surprised me with her development of the characters from Chocolate Star. I was most amazed at Jade. Of course, Topaz, never surprises me. She is still crazy as ever. I REALLY enjoyed this book. It was easy and fun to read. I was so caught up that when I got to the end I was mad because I finished. OK Ms. Copeland, what's going to happen next? I am on the edge of my seat. All readers of Chocolate Star run out and get this book. New readers of Ms. Copeland, go get BOTH!! You will not be disappointed. The Delta Diva Readers, Norfolk, VA love you and support you Ms. Copeland!!!!
Rating: Summary: Scandalous Review: My advice to anyone who is thinking about purchasing this book is to read Chocolate Star first. This is a sequel to the book Chocolate Star. It flows better if you have an understanding of the characters from the first book. If you have read Chocolate Star and there has been some time delay please read it again.I thought the book was sizzling. There are a lot of secrets and changes among the characters. It is a very good easy read. I like the sisterhood connection. I thought it to be realistic. It shows you that you can have very good friends with some significant flaws but you love them very much in spite of these flaws.
Rating: Summary: Incredible Work!!! Review: Sheila Copeland took a chance...and it worked! Her outstanding mix of themes and the weaving in God and Faith were a work of art. Her 'sista-girl' references were appropriate and especially entertaining. I completed the book in just two days. As an author myself, I enjoyed reading a story I don't have the capacity, nor the experience to write. I have always been intrigued by the NBA and am a HUGE fan of the NY Knicks. Topaz is not unlike a woman I know VERY well; and frankly, I can't say I blame Ms. Copeland for writing her the way she did. Overall, I give this book an enormous thumbs up! Ms. Copeland scored big with this one. Nice Sheila, Nice!
Rating: Summary: HOT CHOCOLATE Review: Sheila Copeland's follow up to her first novel Chocolate Star is a great read. I recommend reading Chocolate Star first though as it will give you a better insight to the characters in A Chocolate Affair. A Chocolate Affair tells the story of four women....Keisha, Jade, Topaz, & Nina...they are all linked together in some way. Ms. Copeland takes us into their world and lets us take a peek at their glitzy, super star lives. When a situation occurs between Topaz and Jade's husband, Sean "Sylk" Ross your mouth will be hanging open. Will the secret come out and lives be destroyed? Just wait and see. Continued success and blessings to Ms. Copeland.
Rating: Summary: A MUST HAVE! Review: Shelia Copeland did a great job with this I'm ordering Diamond Life right now. I love the way Topaz got back with her lover Germain! Also, the way Keshia is so spirtual and helps everyone else to find thier spirtual side. I hope that Diamond Life is as good as this.
Rating: Summary: You Gotta Read It!!!!! Review: Talk about high drama. This was a very enjoyable roller coaster ride. The characters were compelling and the storyline was realistic. Ms. Topaz had me liking her in the beginning, but as the story came to a close, she showed her true selfish nature. Can't wait to order the next installment. Keep of the good work Ms. Copeland ;-)

Rating: Summary: MUST READ Review: THIS BOOK IS PRETTY GOOD AND I FOUND IT ENTERTAINING.
Rating: Summary: Bittersweet Chocolate Affair Review: This book is ridiculous. Topaz was the worst in this book. She redeemed herself from "Chocolate Star" only to do something stupid again! If you read this book you'll understand what I'm talking about. The next [person] in line was Jade, Sean's wife. She was trippin' throughout the whole book and she didn't even deserve what she had. The only sane people in this book were Nina and Keisha. As for the men, Sean has no sense. He was stupid enough to put himself in a position that he knew wasn't right from jump street. Then we have Eric, who is definitely a sweetheart and a man who loves his friends and wife. This book is all about the chocolate. If you love chocolate, you just might like this book.
Rating: Summary: You Gotta Read It!!!!! Review: This book is so good. It keeps you guessing and wondering about what is gonna happen next. You will not want to put it down. This book also shows you how family should stick together, when a memeber of the family is in your need of help.
