Summary: I especially liked The First Two Stories!
Review: I enjoyed Avon's book of short romance stories. the best stories in this book in my opinion are Bargain Bride by Stella Cameron and The Bride of Wildcat Purchase by Judith E. French. Bargain Bride is about a young English lady named Beatrice Merryfield who is trying to avoid an unwanted marriage so she seeks help from handsome Guy Falconer who is a Marquess and a romance soon develops between these two but even though it's their romance that is the main part of the story there is also the romance between Beatrice's friend Sybil Abbott-Smyth and Guy's friend Armando de Silva so really in this story you get two romances. The Bride of Wildcat Purchase is about an English lady named Elizabeth who is disowned by her family and rejected from society for deciding not to marry the man her family was trying to make her marry so not having any money or prospects Lissa decides to sail to America and becomes a mail order bride to handsome Reese Mackenzie who is half Native American and soon finds out that he has a little daughter named Jilly who turns out to be a real handful. I recommend this book but especially for these two stories.

Summary: Good!
Review: I liked this book with it's short story romances and my favorite story is Bargain Bride by Stella Cameron which is a Regency which of course is set in England and Beatrice Merryfield is a woman who is trying to get out of an arrainged marriage with the help of her friend Sybil Abbout-Smythe and one day they meet a Marquess named Guy Falconer and his friend Armando De Silva who agree to help them and soon these two guys find themselves losing their hearts to the two women. My next favorite story is The Bride of Wildcat Purchase by Judith E. French. In this one an English lady named Elizabeth (Lissa) is shunned by her family and by the ton for refusing to marry the man her family was trying to force her into marriage with and after that Lissa decides to leave England and gets on a ship and heads to America and winds up becoming a mail order bride to Reese Mackenzie who is half Indian and lives a more down to earth life style then she is used to and Reese has a daughter who doesn't like Lissa's haughty attitude and resents her relationship with Reese and gives Lissa a real hard time! I have to recommend this book but especially for these 2 stories!

Summary: Unforgettable Stories on Matrimony
Review: To Love and To Honor is a collection of four stories.

The first story is Bargain Bride written by Stella Cameron. Love blossoms between a headstrong English miss and a dashing knight who rescues her from an unwanted marriage. But has a secret plan of his own. Funny and sensuous!

The second story is The Bride of Wildcat Purchase written by Judith E. French. A half breed Colonial sends for a mail order bride but his request turns out to be a sensual woman who turns his world upside down. Watch the sparks fly!

The third story is Store-bought Woman written by Linda Lael Miller. A young lady sets out for America after being jilted at the altar. She agrees to marry a total stranger only to find herself strangely attracted to her intended's brother. A sweet and heartwarming story!

The last story and my FAVORITE is The High Sheriff of Huntingdon written by Anne Stuart. The story centers on a convent bred daughter of an earl who is wed quite unwillingly to a handsome somewhat wicked lord. Some say that he is the spawn of a witch and the devil. Men who have angered him and women who have not pleased him wind up missing never to be seen again. Yet, despite these warnings, Elspeth remains and slowly begins to unravel the mystery surrounding The High Sheriff of Huntingdon. The chemistry between Elspeth and Alistair was electrifying. He is the epitome of a brooding, tortured hero and she is a perfect balance for his darkness. Elspeth was funny, courageous and loving. Quick - RUN and buy yourself a copy!
