Rating: Summary: Hate to see Men of The Double C Ranch end Review: Allison Leigh is so talented, I love this series of hers. Even though a few online reviewers gave too much away. I highly recommend Tristan and Hopes' love story.
Rating: Summary: Hate to see Men of The Double C Ranch end Review: I gotta tell you ... I LOVED THIS BOOK!! I won't go in to the synopsis as the other reviews have done that already ( too much in some cases ) There are some areas in which we all would know this is not likely to happen in real life..but hey IT IS FICTION....As the kids would say...DUH! The romance and adoration were there... a lovely book..I can hardly wait to read about the other brothers lives!!!

Rating: Summary: Allison Leigh's Special Edition in very special! Review: I had really looked forward to this last book in the Clay brothers series but was disappointed. Tris seemed to have undergone a personality change from the first book in the series "Stay." The plot was flatter and not too believable. I do highly recommend the 4 books prior.

Rating: Summary: Sweet... Review: I haven't read the other books in the "Men of Double C" Series (yet), but I have to confess that despite the rather hackned twist of the marriage to save the reputation I think that it was a very powerful and passionate book. I was sorry to see their story end when it was over. Allison Leigh is a very talented writer. She is very good at writing passion and love and expressing them in a way that leaps off the page. I am looking forward to more of her work in the future.
Rating: Summary: Disappointed Review: I was totally hooked on the Men from the Double C series from the beginning. I really enjoyed the stories about Jefferson and Matthew. While I felt the stories about Daniel and Sawyer were not as good, they were still an enjoyable read. Unfortunately, Tristan's story is a disappointment. I cannot believe the same author wrote this book. The whole premise for the marriage is outdated. The wedding was unbelievable, and totally contrived. The growth of Hope unrealistically happend overnight. The wedding ring doesn't fit with the personality of Hope's mother as presented in the story. I still haven't figured out why the birth certificate surprise was necessary. I am sorry if I have given too much away, but I am sitting here dazed and confused. I have reread the first four books several times and still enjoy them. Not this one.
Rating: Summary: Hope in a Small Town Review: If you have ever lived in a small town, you may be able to identify with Hope Leoni, a school teacher that values her good reputation in spite of small town gossip. Even good people will gossip. Tristan Clay is the youngest of Squire Clay's 5 sons. Tristan with his many accomplishments in his high tech, jet setting career, is a good man, a Clay after all. With a secret of his own. Unintentionally, he may have damaged Hopes career in this little town in Wyoming. You will also catch up Jefferson and Emily, from Stay... as well as Squire and his other 3 remarkably strong sons and their families in this heart rendering conclusion of the Men of the Double C Ranch. I see this authors name often on the Waldenbook best seller list plus Amazons best sellers and I can see why. This book will touch your heart.
Rating: Summary: Allison Leigh's Special Edition in very special! Review: This is a great book. Wonderful conclusion to the Men of the Double C Ranch, just want to hear more about this entire family eventually.
Rating: Summary: Disappointed Review: This is the final book in the "Men of the Double C" series. Tristan, who was the fifth and youngest Clay comes home to Weaver for his Father's wedding. He meets up with sheltered schoolmarm Hope Leoni, who has always had a crush on him. Something about her draws the famous, wealthy confirmed batchelor who has been linked with beautiful fashion models. More than one gossip and news crew in Weaver are wondering what is going on between them and come up with a few ideas. Even though they have never shared one kiss, Tristan decides to marry her to save her reputation. Hope has a lot of work ahead of her to convince Tristan he is capable of giving her more than his name. This will probably always be one of my favorite mini-series. However, I must admit I was a little dissapointed,(hence the 4 stars) that it didn't have the same passion and feeling of the other books. The first 3 books in the series were so full of passion and other characters. They always referred back to brothers from the previous story so you felt like their stories carried on. In this book, the beloved Double C, is hardly mentioned and you barely here anything from the other brothers. With all this said, I must admit that was all I found lacking. The story, while not as captivating as the others, was still a good read. The last pages were beautifully written and did finally mention the rest of the family and the ranch. As Squire Clay stands back and surveys the family and the land around him, you can't help but feel you are saying bye to an old friend.
