Rating: Summary: Annie Kimberlin has grown into Annie Smith Review: I enjoyed Ann's first books, written under the name Annie Kimberlin, but this one represents a quantum leap forward in her growth as a writer. The characters are wonderfully drawn, the situations are believable, the ensemble of friends is one any woman will covet, Mel Gibson gets lots of mentions, and the dogs are big, furry and slobbery. What more could you ask?
Only one complaint--how could you do that to Brian Boru, Ann? You broke my heart.
Rating: Summary: Another great story from Annie Smith Review: I just love the residents of Annie Smith's Hartlley, Ohio. After reading Home Again, I knew that there had to be more stories about these wonderful people. Sure enough, she wrote several books written under the name Annie Kimberlin. I was fortunate enough to find them, since many are out of print. The animals in her stories are as complex and special as their humans. After reading these books, you will not be able to look at your pets the same. I came to realize that it isn't the town, but the relationships among the characters that make this series special. Autumn Leaves is my favorite story so far. I hope that Annie Smith will continue to write about the characters of Hartley.

Rating: Summary: Nice change from typical romances Review: I really enjoyed this book. As a big animal lover, I enjoyed that the main character is involved in rescue, and a huge focus of the book is the dogs. I enjoyed that it was slightly different than a lot of the other romance novels I've read. It wasn't so focused on the play-by-play details in the passionate scenes, and it didn't have to include suspense to make the book enjoyable. I look forward to reading more by this author.
