Summary: How Do I Trust Again?
Review: I like the stories that address when someone has been betrayed and they have to learn to trust again with the love of their heart. (It's risky business) Ms Keaton, with her debut novel does just that with Deborah Anderson betrayed by her boyfriend Mario, meets Darrin Wilson, who at first sight knows she is the woman for him. But trust and giving herself to love again does not come easy for Deborah. Ms. Keaton does an excellent job by giving us her version of how letting go of that fear, and letting the love just do what it is suppose to do. Darrin Wilson is definetly the one to give Deborah Anderson the test of her life. The presentation of this story, is an easy read, funny, loving and sincere which all adds up to a very good book to read. I truly enjoyed reading a book about sites and familiar places in Chicago where I onced resided. Congratulations Ms. Keaton on your first novel and looking forward to many more novels from you!

Summary: Pretty Good for a new author
Review: I picked up this book and really did not know what to expect. After reading the reviews I was even more confused. But after reading it I thought that it was pretty good for Barbara's first book. The characters and the situation was very believable. I must admit that Deb was getting on my nerves a little because she just would not take that extra step and give Darrin a chance. But we all know that if we were hurt like that we would be afraid also.

So read the book for yourself. I personally think it was an easy afternoon read.

Summary: Humorous Love Story
Review: It's not often that you find a romance novel that makes you both smile and laugh as you remember similar situations in your own love life. Deb's fear of trusting again and need to believe that Mario had changed his cheating ways really hit close to home. The reference to Mario's wife "taking off her shoe" had many members of my book club in tears from laughing. Many shared stories of "taking off their shoe" or witnessing a friend do the same. I enjoyed the references to some of our local Chicago sites.

I really enjoyed the story and look forward to more books from Ms. Keaton.

Summary: Very appealing
Review: This book about Deborah and Darrin was full of excitement and truth. It tells how it takes a long time to overcome heartache but nonetheless it can be conquered. Love will prevail.
