Summary: Pretention Wrapped in a Soft-cover Binding
Review: "The Lawman Meets His Bride" is most definitely the cheesiest, most poorly-written book I have ever read. Looking past Ms. McKinney's utter pretention in actually submitting this effort to a publisher, the entire work is a series of hackneyed expressions of emotion, trite cliches, "cool"-sounding names, and obviously-manufactured details. This woman has no real talent; Rather, she is only excellent at compiling the most over-used, unentertaining details of a raucous, forbidden, and (truthfully) never-gonna-happen unbelievable romance into a quick-read novel. Having obviously done no research on law enforcement and the undertakings of kidnappings, Ms. McKinney plays to the swooning, idealistic female throw-backs of today who I assume comprise her faithful audience. The book lacks any originality. Furthermore, the love making scenes are so incredibly short and full of euphemisms that I would hazard to call Ms. McKinney either a prude or at severe lack of a thesaurus. The only thing that ALMOST makes it worthwhile to read is the good laugh the educated audience will get out of this book's unintended hilarity.

Summary: Honest to goodness action and romance
Review: If you like your men hot and dangerous, then you'll love The Lawman Meets His Bride. Quinn is a man who is itching to clear his good name and Constance the woman he pratically kidnapped at gunpoint. It just gets stranger from there. But that's the way I like it. And I'm sure you will too. This book is a great read.
