Review: A Midnight Clear takes you on a emotional roller coaster. You have an tear jerking past for both characters and you want them to succeed and be together. I like that Katherine Stone is doing seriels. I keeps you in touch with the other characters.

The beauty of this book will stay with you long after you've finished it.

Review: I am an avid romance reader, but this story left me depressed, I like reading a book and when I am done I feel happy, glad, but not sad. This story line was good but NOTHING in this story was upbeat. I normally pass my books on to friends, but this one is going in the trash.

Summary: Good Story...But Not Plausible
Review: I don't believe for a minute that a sensible mother with a young daughter would invite a teenage boy, a COMPLETE STRANGER, to live in her home unless she REALLY knew him well.
A lot about this book was not believable but that didn't prevent it from being enjoyable.
KS's characters (in all her books) are always complex, compassionate, intelligent ... and troubled. In this, she is unbeatable. No one else gives as much depth to fictional characters.
I do wish Jace and Julia's love life would have been a little more detailed, however.
And (the reason for 4 stars), I wish KS wouldn't make those characters recovering from illness or accident SO sickly looking. I get it that they've been ill, I don't need it that explicit to where the characters look "skeletal" or have "paper thin skin", that sort of thing.

Review: I spent an evening with a box of tissues and 'A Midnight Clear'. Finished the book, but kept the warm glow inside. Page after page of discriptive writing about unbelievable love and joy. A must read for everyone at Christmas time or anytime.
