Summary: She shared his life but not his love..........
Review: From the back cover: "What would she do? Sadie was suddenly alone in the world, and her cottage home would have to be sold. But luck was with her, for Oliver Trentham, the television screenwriter who had bought the cottage, required a housekeeper--and the job was hers! Unfortunately, her heart was soon his--hopelessly so. Such a handsome man, with two small daughters, needed to remarry, but he certainly wouldn't choose his housekeeper!"

This book is a bit of a departure from Betty Neels' usual "doctor/nurse romance" stories, as neither Sadie nor Oliver are from the medical profession. Despite its lack of familiar hospital settings, however, I found this an enchanting love story and could not help but cheer when the "bad" nanny, Miss Murch, was sent packing, and Sadie finally got a chance to show her skills as a housewife and mother. You will not be disappointed when, in the end, Sadie and Oliver and the two little girls become a happy family.
