Summary: Just missed that fourth star
Review: I liked this book, but I don't think it's a five-star keeper by any means. It's a solidly written tale, but nothing particularly memorable about the plot or its characters. You've met them before: the hero who refuses to love or trust; the heroine who's been abused by her rotten family members & also refuses to love or trust, but as usual, the woman succumbs to love first...and has to wait for the hero to get with it! Still, the formula works & keeps your interest, but only up to a point...For me, a big clue that this one was not going to be keeper, was the fact that I was able to put it down for two weeks & only concluded it today. I must say the plot did pick up in the last few chapters and the plot twists were really very good. I can recommend it, but don't expect a keeper. Even the cover art is kind of blah.

Summary: Malcolm's Honor
Review: In 1280, knight Malcolm le Farouche is commanded by King Edward to wed Elinore of Evenbough, daughter of a traitor to the king. This story is riveting as the author meshes the emotions of two people who have never felt love from family members. Mystery arises of assassination attempts on the lead characters. Who wants them dead and who is trying to oust King Edward? I really liked this story, first I have read of Jillian Hart. Marilyn, The Regency Lover's Cafe
