Review: An Unlikely Outlaw is my first book and was an absolute joy to write! The entire story started with my desire to tell the tale of an outlaw's daughter. That's when Jasmine Jamison came swaggering into my life - twirling a six-shooter on her finger, racing her horse too fast, and outright demanding that I cast her in the lead. Behind her, his eyes shaded by his hat brim, his trousers dusty, his shoulders so wide they swept the edges of my office doorway, sauntered Brody McClintock. He smiled at me wryly, and shook his head as Jasmine streaked past on her horse. I knew then that he was the one man on earth strong enough to match her and smart enough to treasure her. Summary: A fun read and impressive debut
Review: An Unlikely Outlaw, set in post-Civil War Texas, has an appealing romance between an aspiring outlaw heroine and the Texas Ranger husband she trapped into marriage. The heroine grows from a young woman who overly romanticizes her early life with her father's band of outlaws, to a mature woman who is willing to give up everything for love. The story is told with humor, sensuality, and great romance!

Summary: Adventures of Angelica Pickles in Wild West
Review: Anglica Pickles above is the spoilt, whiny bully three-year old in the delightful cartoon "Rugrats". Jasmine, the heroine in "An Unlikely Outlaw" acts just like Angelica Pickles - shrill, impetous, lacks common sense or even some semblence of logic come to think of it. Think I'm harsh? Heroine steals sheriff's badge just for fun. Dad orders her to get married, so she decides to get herself compromised with an outlaw - surely he'd leave her in the morning! Never mind her reputation or her father's - at least she wouldn't be married (she sure would love a pretty baby though)! Then there's her harebrained scheme to BE an outlaw. All's fair if she can actually do anything competently, but alas, she can't. Scary thing is, Jasmine's 24. And not once in the entire story does she actually acts even close like any normal 24-year-old would. Her father has a lot to answer the Social Services for. The hero acts more like a babysitter than a lover. Oh boy, the author sure made a big miscalculation with Jasmine. Ms Wade can write, but let's hope she locks inane lil' Daddy's girls like Jasmine out next time around.

Review: Brodie will tug at your heartstrings! If you don't sigh over this guy, you're probably not BREATHING. Rebecca Wade has a wonderful sense of humor and a delightfully fresh writing style that sparkles (and we mustn't forget those parts that SIZZLE, too!) I can't wait to read A WANTED WOMAN when it comes out in November!

Summary: What a winner of a Western!
Review: I read this book while sweltering in two weeks of near century heat, and I can only say it passed the test with flying colours. All else was forgotten as I read, loved and laughed at 'An Unlikely Outlaw'. In my opinion, Brody is a fabulous, living and breathing hunk who ends up getting his just desserts - Jasmine. Rebecca Wade has created a strong, fascinating character who soon had me pining for him as much as our heroine eventually does. And as for Jasmine? Well, her rebellious mixture of guts and naivety makes her a real charmer. So much so, that I can't wait to read the next book from this obviously talented new author.

Summary: Rebecca Wade brings a fresh voice to Romantic Fiction!
Review: I waited with great anticipation for this book to appear on the shelves last December! I was not dissappointed. Rebecca created a wonderfully fiesty heroine who grows and matures but never loses her spark and fire. She comes out of her realm of self centered dreams and aspirations to learn what love and loyalty are all about. Jasmine makes a great outlaw! I love her six shooter and her love of adventure, no matter how dangerous. The hero and object of Jasmine's desires is a strong, law abiding man who takes his obligations seriously. This is just the man to help Jasmine focus her talents and energies away from herself and onto what it means to give oneself unselfishly to another. Brody is the right mix of tortured and strong, and caused me to love him on sight! I know we will be hearing a lot from Rebecca in the years to come and her tales are only going to get better and better! Thank you for this wonderful book!
