Review: A book that's neither pretentious or Sheakspearean....which makes it totally unpredictable.
I couldn't put it down for too long! It touches on matters that everyone old enough to grasp the concept of love, family and religion has had to come to grips with and it's a guide for those that are fascinated only with euphoric feeling that love brings....which in my opinion makes it everbody's reality in SOME WAY. It's a book I know people will love to have in their collection!

Summary: Indulge Your Senses
Review: You owe it to yourself to indulge your senses in this masterpiece. Treat yourself to vivid images of the Islands, descriptions of delicatable cusine so involved you can taste it and intense accountings that testify that lovemaking can be a spiritual journey. This book was my constant companion for two days. I was captured by its surface story but even more fasinated by the exploration of what "lies behind the curtain of this life". There are parts you will read two or three times: for better understanding and shear enjoyment. Thanks to Colin Channer for sharing his gift with the rest of us. Looking forward to experiencing more. HINT: I would love to see the two main chararcter's spirits meet again or even a piece of what their prior meeting(s)were like. That would be great. Well,whatever the next treat Mr. Channer has for us, I'm sure we'll enjoy!

Summary: A True Reader's MUST HAVE
Review: Colin Channer has done it again! This is truly a work of art. Honestly, after WAITING IN VAIN, I thought there would never be another book to make me laugh, then convict me, and make me cry. His very unique formula of how to tell a story has been perfected in this, his latest work. Often times after having to just put the book down for a couple of hours(because it does make you think deeply), I swore I had been watching everything on television that I had actually been reading. He personifies every word on the page, color pops, and winds really blow. I have read both, WAITING IN VAIN and SATISFY MY SOUL. And I testify to being in Jamacia twice. Don't read this book if you're not ready to be swept up in a journey of the soul, of love, and of life lessons. It is deep. It is real.... It is so so real!

Review: I have just finished reading Satisfy My Soul and all I can say is "Whew".
I could not put it down. It was so erotic and sensual. I had to drink water just to cool off.

Summary: We are all trying to satisfy our soul
Review: I recently finished the novel Satisfy My Soul and felt a strong need to write, in my journal, to the author, to my friends and family, loved ones past and present. I loved it, the novel opened places in my heart that have been dormant for a long time. I found it compelling, strong yet soft, true yet full of deception. It made me think of my quests to satisfy my soul and find true love. I found that Channer did a great job exploring relationships from the physical as well as the spiritual contexts. He allows the reader to connect and understand the totality of love, how it works, the sacrifice, the importance of belief systems and how they play a major role in the development and life of any relationship. The novel stirs a beautiful pot of stew full of love, passion, sex, sexuality and spirituality. Its a lovely blend and makes the characters rich, tasteful and realistic, it makes you want to fall in love and Satisfy your Soul.

Review: I just have to say that Satisfy My Soul is a perfect title for this adventure that Channer has created for us all. I am so glad that I had discovered Channer in a book filled with short stories. Waiting in Vain did something for me that no one on earth has been able to do, Satisfy My Soul took me in, as if I was a character. I am definitely looking forward to my next journey.....take me there Colin!!

Review: Channer's talent is revealed greatly in this book. I didn't think he could top Waiting In Vain. This brother is truly imaginative and knows how to demonstrate that imagination, when drawing pictures with words. This romantic and realistic novel takes you out of the hustle and bustle of every day life to the place you longed to be. I can cuddle up to this book in winter and chill out with it in the summer. In a few words:enticing, romantic, realistic and I love it! I am looking forward for a lot more loving energy out of this truly talented author!

Brilliantly executed, SATISFY MY SOUL took me on a journey of two souls through spirituality, religion, love and eroticism while at the same time transporting me through SC, Jamaica and Ghana. A riveting read, Channer held me 'till the very last page.
