Summary: The Unwilling Mistress
Review: Description on the back cover:

March Calendar: Single and determined to stay that way...certainly while Will Davenport's around. He may be the most eligible bachelor March has ever met, but he's also the most lethal! She'll never get involved with a man who plans on destroying her family's business!

Will Davenport: Single and on a mission to buy the Calendar family's farm for redevelopment. But when he meets the feisty March, he's hooked. Perhaps he can do a deal that will bring the best of both worlds--satisfaction for March and for him. But is March willing to sleep with the enemy?

This was a really good follow up to "His Cinderella Mistress". I really enjoyed this book. March Calendar really grabbed my attention. She is a determined and very outspoken woman who knows exactly what she wants. And as for Will Davenport, not only is he handsome and charming, he is also determined to get what he wants. When I was reading this book I felt like that the characters came alive. I didn't want to put the book down and when I did all I could think about was picking it back up again. This is a really interesting and fun read. I would highly recommend this book. Also check out "His Cinderella Mistress" and "The Deserving Mistress". They were both also excellent books.

Summary: Vintage Carole Mortimer
Review: If you like Carole Mortimer, you'll love the Calendar Brides trilogy, including The Unwilling Mistress. Her stories always follow the sweet path, with lots of emotion but little sex and none of that explicit. This is a book you could share with your daughter or your mother withough embarrasment.

March is a great heroine, well drafted. IShe had me rooting for her from the first couple of paragraphs. Her behavior was consistent, even though at times her conversation was stilted. Those instances were rare, however, and I thoroughly enjoyed warching March prevail and Will win his woman.

I read Mortimer for her sweet, feisty heroines who create new thinking, or at least new behavior, in the Alpha males they tame. March and her sisters January and May, fit this mold. They are good role models for girls who need to know that you don't have to give up everything for love, nor do you have to turn into either a doormat or a sex bomb. Mortimer's light touch with sex is just what is needed.

Would I buy this? Yes. Would I keep this? NO. This is too good not to share.
