Summary: HOT!
Review: This is my first book by Charlene Berry and it was excellant. This was a true page turner, I finished the book in one day. The attraction between Symone and Josiah was strong from their first meeting.

I love the suspense and the drama. You find your self anticipating what will happen next and guessing who you think the killer will be. But you are in shock at the twist of who the killer is and how they are related to Symone.

Good read, you will not be dissapointed.

Summary: Good Book!
Review: This was my first book by Berry and enjoyed her writting style. I liked this story. Don't you just love reading about strong black women that can take care of themselves. The only thing that kept me from giving this one top ratings was that Josiah, in my opinion, was lacking something that I can not put my finger on! I guess the guy did not make me go gah-gah over him. But that's just me!(joke) Good Read!

Summary: A Murder Mystery Seasoned With Romance!
Review: This was, a first for me reading one of Charlene Berry's books. Detective Symone Rawlins is requested to become apart of the team with FBI agent, Josiah La'Mon. Symone has to leave her home of Baltimore and go to Louisiana. The first second Symone and Josiah meet, the sudden spark of attraction hits them both. From the moment they meet, the story moves at a pace that you never get bored. The author makes it so interesting for the reader as we try to figure out who is behind these alleged serial murders and it is defintely a twist of surprises. To my fellow readers, I think you'll enjoy this romance/mystery type story with not a boring moment. Looking forward to reading more novels by this author.

Summary: More than Heat, this book is H-O-T!!!!
Review: What can I say about this wonderful novel? Ms. Berry and I exchanged books with each other while actually doing a book signing tour in New Orleans together. On the plane, returning home, I couldn't put this book down, even when I started getting sleepy! Ms. Berry writes a novel of intrigue and suspense that had my mind and heart racing through the very streets of New Orleans we had just left with this fictitious character, Detective Symone Rawlins. I agonized with her over the death of her beloved brother and felt vengence in my heart for catching the person who killed him. Ms. Berry makes you fall in love with handsome Josiah La'Mon, an FBI agent, who at first seems like he might not be a good guy. I loved the roller coaster ride of mystery Ms. Berry puts the reader on and was sufficiently surprised when she revealed the killer and the connection between the two. This is more a thriller than a romance and I loved the ride. What's next Ms. Berry?
