Summary: Not a romance reader, but loved this
Review: Coming from a home, whose male occupants know all the James Bond movies by heart, I enjoyed a laugh riot with this novel. There was so many tongue in cheek comedy through this entire book I could hardly put it down.

Jane (female James) Spyrus (come on, who are you fooling) is lighthearted, goofy, unaware, and intelligent. The many men in her life are sexy, dangerous, and intriging. With Knockout Lipstick, laser shooting braclets, truth serium perfume, tracking tampons (no I am not making this up--Sands is), and Vibrator mini launchers, nothing will stop her from stopping the bad guys and saving the world.

God, I'm laughing just thinking about it!

Summary: The Female Q
Review: I am a HUGE James Bond fan (especially if it's Pierce or Sean), and have always loved the gadgets he uses. So when this book came out, I HAD to read it. I liked it so much that I loaned it out to one of my co-workers. Favorite gadgets? The knock out lipstick and the shrink wrap condoms. I also wouldn't mind a a little vile of that truth serum perfume. Boy, would THAT come in handy at times. All in all, I thought it was a great read and laughed by butt off.

Summary: Hmmm...
Review: I dont really know how else to describe how I felt about this book. The story line was not very strong and the characters were okay... nothing special. If anything, Sands tries too hard to make a mediocre plot into a James Bond like story, BUT... this is the funniest book I have read in a long time. I laughed until I just about bust a gut! The situations that the characters get into are incredibly funny. The inventions are beyond belief! If you want a good story, read something else, but if you want to laugh yourself silly, this book is for you!

Summary: Laugh out loud funny!

Summary: Funny and Entertaining
Review: I really liked "Loving Daylights" even though its not the type of romance I usually read (humor). I must say however, Ms. Sands' writing is the bomb. She manages to make the heroine: Jane Spyrus and her boyfriend Able to be quite endearing.

Here's the scoop: Jane is a gadget techie working for super-secret spy organization called: "BLISS," when her best friend Edie is captured Jane and Edie's brother Abel go after the missing girl with funny (and humorous) results.

I enjoyed the Loving Daylights. Mostly because I think Lynsay Sands has a gift for good characters, interesting situations, and well written dialogue. I also like the male characters. She doesn't write your typical "Alpha boor" males which (as the name implies)bore me to tears. Instead her men are well-balanced, thoughtful and most of all normal. I also enjoyed Jane's "Inventions" especially the missile launcher and the amazing shrinking condom. LOL. And lets not forget her sidekick "Tinkle" the dog. Too funny.

Sands' writing was fun, fast-paced, and had impressive Dialogue. I hope for a sequel with Dirk- or maybe even a serious romance/spy story. Ms. Sands certainly has the talent for it. 5 Stars for a fun, amusing read.

Summary: B.L.I.S.S. espionage romantic satire
Review: Jane Spyrus is the top inventor for B.L.I.S.S. Her work enables those working in the cold to succeed in very dangerous endeavors. For that the ultra shy Jane is highly regarded by her employers though some males might be a bit fearful of some of her gadgets that could cause a cramp or more to the family jewels.

Edie Andretti believes there is something illegal at her place of employment Ensecksi Satellites. Someone believes she knows too much and kidnaps Edie, who just before her abduction had taken a tampon from Jane's supply. However, that is no ordinary tampon as Jane has hidden a tracking device inside. With Edie's brother Abel and Jane's wheelchair bound grandma Maggie, Jane follows the signal, but not before contacting B.L.I.S.S. Abel and Jane fall in love, but first must rescue his sibling before they can act on their feelings.

Inane? Absolutely, but who will care as those beautiful ladies with their sex gadgetry save the world from evil doers. The third B.L.I.S.S. espionage romantic satire is fun due to the antics of timorous Jane and able Abel. Lynsay Sands spins a delightful story that is silly escapism entertainment for the Jane and James Bonds of the Casino Royale movie world.

Summary: Lynsay rocks in her first contemporary!!!!!
Review: Lynsay Sands is a super historical romance writer with a light touch that can lead to side-splitting giggles. She is one of the best writers that leaves you feeling good all over when you read her works. Well, this is her first contemporary and it is a fun romp! In the ladies from B*L*I*S*S* series (a series of spoofs by Dorchester with various writers on the James Bond Books), Lynsay gives you a down to earth spy vs spy. In her warm and funny style, she offers one delicious romp! WARNING: if you have a chest cold or broke ribs do not read. If you are in a public place and do not want people looking at you - do no read there!! You will just laugh so hard you might hurt or embarrass yourself!!

Jane Spyrus is into making gizmos for BLISS spy - and wow what gadgets!! Won't spoil the surprise and tell you about them, but lets say you will be howling from page one!! Jane's neighbour borrows something accidentally - a tracker - thinking it is something she needs on a hot date. Jane figures she will get it back from her later, but it comes in very handy when the neighbour's brother turns up looking for his missing sister. Jane, her wheelchair bound ex-spy grandmother and the brother are suddenly in hot pursuit of his sister who stumbled onto a super spy ring ala THRUSH.

Suddenly, Jane is forced into be a spy instead of an inventor and it is once more one of Lynsay's delightfully warm and laugh out loud tales.

I know Lynsay is a little nervous, this being her first contemporary, and afraid her historical fans might not want to read her first contemporary. To me Lynsay Sands on the cover is a guarantee you will have a wonderfully, funny time!...

Summary: A Howlathon!
Review: Lynsay Sands rocks with this zanny paraody of the Bond books. I cannot recall when I Have laughed so hard. Her tale leaves an open door for more Jane Spyrus tales and I, for one, will be in line waiting!

Lynsay Sands always makes people laugh, a rare gift, but this one was just so funny from start to finish.

A good way to shake off the post Winter blues!

Summary: Mostly boring
Review: My husband didn't know what to make of me laughing so hard I was wiping tears from my eyes! (I offered to let him read the book, but, like so many men, he cringed at the mere thought.) This was a hilariously good read. Check your serious side at the door and lose yourself in the simple fun of reading this book.
