Summary: I can't believe this is a first novel!
Review: I'm so impressed by Jane Goodger - this story held my attention completely from start to finish. I'm not usually into historical times but her character of Maggie made learning about 1888 not only interesting, but really exciting. I would LOVE to see a sequel - maybe the story of the romance of her daughter-in-law and son? An excellent novel.

Summary: A wonderful read!
Review: Just about the time I was asking myself why I even liked romance novels, I found the answer to my question in this book. An intriguing storyline that kept me captivated, firmly supported by wonderful, interesting and true-to-life characters. I could see why Maggie fell in love with Carter, and I could believe that Carter would fall in love with her (which is a refreshing change for those of us tired of heros we love coupled with heroines we'd love to strangle!) I've read this book more than once and continue to rank it as one of my favorites!

Summary: A book worth bragging about!
Review: Susan is happily married and pregnant. She is also near 6 feet tall and fair. Killed in a terrible car accident, she is placed in the body of a spoiled, hated woman of the 1800s. Now called Maggie, she finds herself as a petite, dark haired woman. She spends months trying to convince others that she's no longer mean and spiteful. Her husband, Carter, goes from doubting her story to trusting her totally in the end. It was my favorite book of all time and worth keeping forever. Read it. You won't be sorry.

Summary: EXCELLENT! An extraordinary must read.
Review: The first time I read this book, I cried like a baby. I've read it several times since then and even knowing what was going to happen, I cried again and again. I think that we all can empathize with Maggie's despair at times and that what makes it such a good read. Don't skip out on reading this book. If you don't read it, you're definitely missing out.

Summary: Best book I've read in years
Review: This book captivated me. I couldn't put it down. Everytime I would say "okay, one more page". The story brought renewed faith in me, that you are not your past, but your future. I've never been moved by a book, as I have been by "When There Is Hope" This is one book I will never tire of reading over and over again. I borrowed this book from a friend and didn't want to give it back. So I bought my own. Jane Goodger has won a fan for life

Summary: One Of The Best Books Of The Year!
Review: This book was so well written that you could actually feel the joys and the pain of the characters. I could almost see myself there. The sign of a good Author is if they can move you with there writing.

Maggie was a true Heroine. Not only did she have to deal with losing her life in the 1990's, but she had to learn to live again in the 1800's as someone eles. The trials she had to go through would have made most women give up. All because she loved her huband.

Summary: best time travel romance i've read!
Review: This is my first book by Jane Goodger and I've read it 3 times already! Each time I read it, it never fails to make me cry. The dialogue is so well written that you can feel how the heroine felt. I introduced this book to a friend who isn't into reading and I'm very proud to say that I've converted her to an avid reader like me. We're both waiting for Ms. Goodger's next time travel romance. Keep it up Ms. Goodger!
