Summary: Very easy on the heart.
Review: A quick, entertaining, intelligent read. I salute Ms. Thomas' ability to keep her heroine chaste while avoiding sanctimony. Her plot twists reminded me of cornrow braiding: just when you thought you'd found that one loose end, it turned out to be entwined in or under another twist. Highly entertainng.

Review: A Resolution of Love begins with three friends preparing to go to a New Year's Eve party. You get to know these friends, heroine, Daryl, friends Audrey and Margo, intimately. I was impressed with Daryl's single-minded faith that there was a Mr. Right out there just waiting for her. The girlfriends'conversations on this subject were hilarious. At the party, Daryl meets Sheldon Turner, ex-basketball player, and one stunning fellow. Daryl's smitten, Sheldon is in lust! The tale Ms. Thomas weaves around these two characters is mesmerizing. I began the book just as I retired for the evening and didn't stop reading until I'd reached chapter twelve, and my eyes were too grainy to continue. It's just that compelling. And then there's the character, Malle, an ex-girlfriend of Sheldon's who simply doesn't know when to quit. You won't soon forget her. Excellent job, Jacquelin Thomas. You go, girlfriend!

Summary: Sheldon was a tough nut to crack!!
Review: All I can say about Ms Larsen is that she was a very determined young woman. I mean what else would you say about someone who put up with a man like Sheldon Turner. The man had to be the most blind , stubborn, and noncommital person in the world, if he could not see what a great catch Daryl was. A few times in the book I wanted Daryl to just drop him because he was not worth all the stuff he was putting her through, but of course she didn't agree with me. All and all "A Resolution of Love" was a very good read!

Review: This book shares a realistic view of how women and men view commitment. Daryl knew what she wanted and had the strength not to compromise. Sheldon, a victim of childhood insecurities was afraid to trust himself. Very true to life. This was an excellent story to read. Try it.

Review: What can I say about Daryl Larsen? A woman who goes after what she wants with everything she has by using her feminine wit, determination, and faith. Daryl, who is a medical examiner, is everything any man with common sense would rush to the altar with. However, Sheldon Turner who is a recently retired basketball star with millions of bucks and plenty of groupies just itching to rumble in the sheets with him, stretches her patience and faith to the limit. This story spans a year from one New Year's Eve to the next. Making the name of the book "A Resolution Of Love" a perfect title. I won't say any more. BUY THE BOOK!!!!!! This critic gives it two thumbs up, a full circle and 5 out of 5 stars ****
