Rating: Summary: Vows Review: Vows was the first novel I read by Ms. Alers. Because of the cover I passed it over several times. I almost missed out on a real treat. Joshua Kirkland left me breathless, his looks, his personality and his passion. After reading this intrigingly passionate story, many women would love to walk a mile in Vanessa's shoes. Her strength and belief of what wedding vows stand for made this a real page turner.
Rating: Summary: Vows...Makes You Wonder Review: When we talk about Vows, what do we truly mean. In Rochelle Alers "Vows," she defines one man's definition of Vows. Joshua Kirkland is another of the outstanding men in the Hideaway Series which Rochelle Alers has so eloquently written. Joshua Kirkland is first introduced in Hideway..the first of the Series. He has a small part in Hidden Agenda, but he comes full circle in Vows. He brings with him Vanessa, a beautiful and brilliant accountant and weaves a beautiful story..one you just can't put down until you know how the how story is completed; however, with Rochelle is it really the end for the Hideaway Series continues with bigger than life characters with a strong ethnic background and strong solid relationships with all trappings (an more) of a true love.
Rating: Summary: Very moving - I enjoyed it! Review: While on an exotic Mexican vacation, Vanessa, falls quickly and completely in love with Joshua - who unfortunately, isn't all that he seems. After a little romance, they marry and Joshua (this is the part where you'll want to strangle him) disappers without a trace before Vanessa wakes up the next morning. Vanessa returns home, depressed over the abandonment, but starting to pull her life back together when who would show up? Of course Joshua didn't really abandon Vanessa - he was on a 'secret mission' that could very well put Vanessa in danger! This is a full size book with plenty of intrigue as well as a few boo-hoo moments.
