Review: Although I found this book romantic, as all Ms. Edwards books, I thought the characters were a bit too hard-edged and judgmental. I, in particular, found it difficult to believe that Becky could suddenly fall in love with Blazing Eagle after being held captive. Although she wasn't mistreated necessarily by him, she was forced to stay outside the entire time. I also found it hard to forgive Blazing Eagle for forcing Becky out later in the book when his memories of his family's massacre came to him, and he saw Becky's blond hair as too much a reminder of the woman in his nightmares. Even when he realized his mistake and took her back, I felt he didn't apologize enough and Becky was a bit too forgiving. But the romance was satisfying, if you are willing to overlook these points!

Review: I enjoyed this book. It is the first Cassie Edwards book I have read. The only problem I have with her books(I am starting another one) is the cover. If the men depicted are Indians then what does a white maled look like. The pictures from history books I have read and seen the Indians do not have such white features and I have always thought the pictures on the book were there to give a representation of the charaters in the book. If Blazing Eagle is an Indian based on the cover I am very confused. Leave out the pictures and let the reader envision what the charaters look like if the depiction can't be any better than what it is on the cover. Thanks

Review: This book was suspensful to the end. I like a book that has lots of curves in the road, but then all comes together at the end. This was book was great!!
