Summary: The Perfect Escape!
Review: After twenty plus years of marriage, Anne Marie Jackson's husband leaves her for a younger woman, then her friend persuades her to take the vacation of a life time. In Italy, Anne Marie plans to meet up with Giovanni, the Italian guy she had meet in high school when he had been a foreign student in America. She had had a crush on him then and now that she is free from a ho hum marriage, she wonders if she and Giovanni will become more than friends. However, he is proving to be very elusive, and instead her attention is claimed by a sexy stranger she sees casually lounging outside her hotel when she arrives.

Marco Moretti is definitely more than he seems, and Anne Marie notices he is eager to meet up with Giovanni as much as she is, but wonders why. Marco offers himself as her personal tour guide and Anne Marie finds him very hard to resist. When events happen to make her cautious of him, she tries to distance herself but he is always there...when she needs him and when she does not. Anne Marie can not resist Marco, and finds herself falling hard for this gorgeous, mysterious Italian man.

There is only one thing I like better than a Cajun hero and that is an Italian one!! "That's Amore" is like a Harlequin Presents (a series line I enjoy very much!) but much, much better, as it is a longer length story. The heroine had always longed to visit Italy and she truly has the trip of a lifetime, the highlight being the sexy hero. He is such a modern guy, from his ever present cell phone to a loving grandmother that wants him to marry and have bambinos. Visiting Italy myself has always been a dream of mine and I lived it vicariously through this heroine. *g* Carol Grace blended this story with so much authentic Italian allure and flavor that I was totally absorbed. "That's Amore" is a wonderful romance, Italian-style!

Summary: A fun police procedural ro
Review: Following her divorce and at the encouragement of her best friend, Californian Anne Marie Jackson travels to Sorrento, Italy to visit Giovanni. Back in what feels like ancient history in high school, Giovanni, an exchange student, was the most popular stud in school, but he liked Anne Marie. He invited her to come to Italy and now years later she takes him up on his offer.

However, Giovanni fails to arrive at the hotel rendezvous point in nearby San Gervase. Instead undercover law enforcement official Marco Moretti bothers Ann Marie offering to be her guide when in fact he is trying to capture Giovanni, a master criminal known for smuggling diamonds. Marco believes that Anne Marie is the latest female recruited by Giovanni to break the law as a smuggler though he finds her veneer of innocence disconcerting and has no evidence that she is even a dupe of the felon. As he tries to use her to capture the sly thief, Marco falls in love with the American who shocks herself by reciprocating.

Readers who enjoy a fun police procedural romance starring thirty-something characters will appreciate THAT'S AMORE. Anne Marie is a delightful lead protagonist and the mysterious Giovanni will turn a heart or two until his true colors surface. Though Marco seems too pushy to be successful, readers will enjoy Carol Grant's romantic suspense tour of Italy.

Summary: Borrring
Review: I have to give this book 2 stars because i was so unrealistic. Maybe a 3 for its suspense, but the end lacked alot of imagination. It seems like a fun story line but it definetly needs some work.

Summary: Heartwarming and fun!
Review: I loved this book. I wish I could get on a plane and go to Italy right now. Carol Grace did an amazing job of taking me there. I enjoyed the characters, especially the heroine, who finally gets a chance to really live her life and start again. The hero was sexy and mysterious, the perfect kind of man for an escapist romantic fantasy. I highly recommend this story. It's fun, sexy and a fast read.

Summary: Reminds me of "French Kiss"
Review: This was a fun book to read. I won't give a synopsis, I will just say that this book reminded me a lot of the movie "French Kiss" with just a smiggen of "Romancing the Stone." In this one, though, the hero is the cop and it takes place in Italy. The main characters are both middle aged, but that doesn't slow them down at all. There's a bit of a mystery thrown in. Take an armchair trip and give this one a try.

Summary: Fantastic book........
Review: This was one of those books you just don't want to put down. An excellent summer read, I just hope the author branches off and writes a book with the sister Isabella as the main character. The Italian family was a hoot....they would make a great sequel.
