Summary: Written by Donna Malaprop
Review: "He held her with precariousness and carefulness"--honest, I'm not making this up! "...the next day just as morning dawned on the horizon." "A soft sigh ran from her lips.." "...when I cast my prayer."

How do I get my money back?

Summary: Buy it!!
Review: Alright - Enough! Stop nitpicking and take the story for what it is F I C T I O N, fantasy, escape. I read these type of books for those reasons. There's enough reality in this world. I enjoyed the book. I have to agree with one of the reviewers, this book does have it all. Read it. PS By the way, this was my first Donna Fletcher and I now have a few more in my shopping basket.

Summary: I can't believe the 5 stars are real
Review: Come on. You've got to be kidding. This lady couldn't pass freshman English, let alone get published (and I would really, really like to know how that happened). The guy in this book is a self-centered dork, with no redeeming qualities. The lady is ok, except for her judgment in men. The plot is stupid, the writing is less than sophomoric--how, please could this get a 5 star rating unless her friends are writing in? No kidding, this book is so bad, it's embarrassing! Please don't encourage her. She needs to keep her day job.

Summary: Wonderful read
Review: Donna Fletcher's first novel in the Irish Eyes series is captivating. The Irish Devil is the first title of this series. This one takes place in the Middle Ages. It's full of Celtic charm and passion. To me, it started out dark, but the closer the characters got to emotional freedom, the lighter and stronger the story became. I will give you fair warning that the passion is teasing and bold.

The story starts out with a servant telling the tale of the Irish Devil. He's a cold-hearted man who fights to the death on the battlefield. On this night, the tale is more frightening because The Irish Devil himself is about to appear at their doorstep to claim a bride from the callous family they work for. He will choose between the natural daughters of the Lord and Lady or the stepdaughter who has been disowned because of tragedy long ago. Once a choice has been made, the ride to a new life begins. Here in lies the heart of the story as these two learn to love and trust each other.

This is definitely a grand romance series to look out for. The next two installments of the series are TO MARRY AN IRISH ROGUE and DAUGHTER OF IRELAND

Summary: Excellent and heart-warming!
Review: Due to the number of bad reviews this book got, I felt I just had to add my 2 cents. Now, I consider myself to be a rather open-minded person, so when I read the negative reviews other readers chose to submit about this novel, I thought them over carefully and thoroughly. However, I couldn't quite bring myself to agree with any of them. This book was simply wonderful--whichever way you look at it. Upside down, inside out...you name it. This book has got it all.

Summary: Just a great book
Review: I loved this book.It is a great read. I really like how faith is a very strong person and is not scared of the irish devil. The only part i didn't like was that her father treated her so wrong.

Summary: The Irish Devil, or The Irish Sweetheart?
Review: I really loved this book. Faith was an awesome female character. She was strong and stood firm throughout the whole story. Despite its typing and grammar errors, this book kicked some major bum. I highly reccomend it to anyone who believes in fairy tales and doesn't get critical when they are reading. It was very well-writen. Good bye!

Summary: The Irish Devil - INDEED
Review: I thoroughly enjoyed this story! Faith and Eric were wonderfully complex and full characters. Their struggles and triumphs made their personalities (and the story) so much richer. The relationship between Eric, Colin, and Borg was a great addition as well. I was intrigued by all three of these men. Faith was the only well developed female character, but she was so brave and courageous it was enough. Bridget was a sweet but stereotypical maid, and Lady Terra was the cruel step-mother. However, it is Eric and Faiths relationship that is spellbinding! These two people are so perfect for each other. It is quite touching.

I was so surprised to learn that the next book in this series is totally unrelated. I am so disapointed, I want to know what happens next. Ms. Fletcher....PLEASE! KCS
