Rating: Summary: Original and fun! Review: I love archeology stories, and I love Patti Berg's books--so what could be better than a romance like BRIDE FOR A NIGHT? (Answer: Not much.) I had a blast reading this book. The plot is fun; the romance is hot; and the ending is a delightful surprise. An added bonus is the wonderful romance between the hero's father, Graham Kincaid, and the heroine's aunt Phoebe. I had so much fun reading about those two, I wish they'd had their own book. And four-year-old Dylan just made me fall in love. The only thing that would've made this book better was a stronger conflict between Cairo and Duncan--but that wasn't enough to mar my enjoyment. I'm already looking forward to the next wonderfully original book by Patti Berg.

Rating: Summary: A fast, fun and delightful adventure! Review: I thouroughly enjoyed reading an advance copy of Ms. Berg's latest book and am happily anticipating her next one! The research and Montana setting, plus the adventurous hero Duncan Kincaid, remind me of an Indiana Jones adventure, but with more fun, and the added spice of romance. This is a change of pace from her other books, but still a fast and exciting experience!
Rating: Summary: What happened? Review: I was so anxious for this book after I read Wife for a Day. I could not get into this book. I finished it only because I had to see if it got any better. I was extremely disappointed in this.
Rating: Summary: disappointing Review: I've read several of Ms. Berg's other books and like them. THis one I kept reading thinking it would get better. It did not. I'll continue to read Ms Berg but I may wait until her books hit the resale shops.
Rating: Summary: Couldn't put it down! Review: If you haven't read a book by Patti Berg, you've been missing out on one of the best romance authors there are. Her books never fail to make me laugh and cry and fall in love all over again. After reading WIFE FOR A DAY, I eagerly awaited the release of BRIDE FOR A NIGHT. Not only did this fun and touching story meet my expectations, but Patti Berg surpassed them! If you enjoy only the best in contemporary romance and are an Indian Jones fan, BRIDE FOR A NIGHT is sure to end up on your keeper self too.
Rating: Summary: What would it be like to fall in love with Indiana Jones? Review: Okay, so Duncan Kincaid isn't exactly Indiana Jones but he is a sexy archaelogist with a dubious background bent on finding the next big thing... with the ability to "talk" to a dead mountain explorer from the 19th century and blood for adventure. Cairo McKnight is a beautiful single mother, trying to find out if her ex-husband of ONE night is worthy of finding *her* secret...The secret that they had a son together, whom Duncan knows nothing about!Bride For A Night (I'm beginning to really like Patti's titles...) is a fun and fast paced romance between two people who were separated by unforseen circumstances after a whirl-wind marriage of ONE night... Almost 5 years later, they are brought back together by two things they share together... love for adventure and their son. What's so fun about this book is not only the blatant sexual tension between the two characters but the fact that their passion from the past consumes the present. And you can just imagine how *hot* their past was. Also fun is the secondary love story between Graham Kincaid and Phoebe McKnight... The story takes even more interesting turn because Graham is Duncan's father, who is in a wheel chair due to a spinal cord injury and Phoebe is Cairo's hippie aunt! Okay, I don't want to give the rest of the story away... So you're just going to have to read it for youself. You'll enjoy this book! Julianne

Rating: Summary: Fun and Full of Heart! Review: Patti Berg has done it again with a fast-paced, fun read, full of heart and delightful characters. Indiana Jones has nothing on Duncan Kincaid, a hunk of an adventurer who's quest for a lost treasure has brought him to Sanctuary, Montana. His ex-wife, Cairo McKnight, embarks on an adventure of her own when she decides that her son needs his father. But is Duncan father- material, or the irresponsible adverturer who left her after only one night of marriage? Cairo vows to find out before she takes the step to unite Duncan with the son he doesn't know he has. Duncan and Cairo have great chemistry and heat up the pages with their attraction to each other. Ms. Berg also gives the reader a tender secondary love story between Cairo's free-spirited aunt and Duncan's father, a widower who needs a little nudge to take another chance on life. Thoroughly enjoyable!
