Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Middle of the road for the series
Review: I liked Tipton better than Keanan, although he's okay. But I like Wynne much better than I had Devona. Actually, I love Tipton in this story, too.

The back cover is to be ignored. There's no "lesson" involved. But it is a good story with plenty of passion. The subplot of the half-brothers is well done, although I tire of the having the hero's mother be utterly horrid. Will there be a book for Nevin? He's an interesting character.

As far as the series goes, this one falls somewhere in the middle, being better than the third one.
