Summary: A great time travel romance!
Review: I prefer time travel romances and this one was not only great but what I consider a keeper, a book to be read and reread. Reminded me of "When There Is Hope" by Jane Goodger but with the twist of the male lead time traveling. If you enjoy Regencies and time travel, don't miss this one.

Summary: GREAT WRITER-GREAT STORY
Review: In 1997 London, Nick DaCosta is racing to the airport to catch the last flight home to San Francisco. Nick is feeling guilty because his partner, Chris, is dying in a San Francisco hospital due to a sting operation that went bad. In his rush to catch that last flight, Nick crashes into a cemetery. He meets his partner in front of a weird light and learns it is not time for him to die.

In 1810, Anna Woodbaine rescues her spouse, Godfrey, who apparently fell off of his horse. Anna hates Godfrey for his vicious treatment of her. However, this time Godfrey acts differently, making her wonder what he wants from her. Unknown to Anna, Nick and Godfrey have switched places. Nick occupies Godfrey's body while he lies in a modern hospital. Nick thinks that his job here in the past is to help Anna and Godfrey, but he cannot stop himself from falling in love with Anna. As he learns more about what happened between Godfrey and Anna, Nick knows that it is more than just jealousy that stops him from trying to help this couple reconcile. Still, there appears to be no future relationship for Nick with Anna, who has begun to love her "gentle" spouse.

NICK OF TIME is a very well written, extremely interesting time travel romance. What makes this tale unique and intriguing are Nick being a bull in a Regency environment and the brilliant handling of nineteenth century spousal abuse. Casey Claybourne adds freshness to both the time travel and Regency romance genres with this clever gem.

Summary: Good Story
Review: In my opinion - not a keeper - but a story that kept me reading to find out how things would be resolved. I read this in one day. Predictable to a point, but the ending was totally unexpected. I really liked the characters, especially Nick. This is the only book I have read by this author, and I am definitely going to try to find her other books. I would recommend this book if you are interested in a light, quick read.

Summary: good
Review: light time fantasy reading, good ending twist, character development weak , not up to the standards of "outlander" but better than harlequin or lovesweapt series books.

Summary: A FABULOUS READ!!
Review: NICK OF TIME is a story of two people from two different times destined to be together. This story is filled with suspense, tragedy, hope, miracles and a passionate love. It is a wonderful book with an ending that is to die for. I recommend it to anyone. You'll enjoy the journey. Trust me!

Summary: Worth the money
Review: This book was a lot of fun to read, and I am not a particular fan of time-travel stories. 'Nick of Time" was my first Casey Claybourne, and I really enjoyed it -- recommend it, especially if you are looking for a 'new' author and haven't tried her. Claybourne's plot and characters were believable, and they made you WANT to follow them through their adventures. The way she handled the time travel was really creative and interesting and let you have the 'willing suspension of disbelief.' This book is a keeper and will be re-read.
