Review: Mr. Dickey once again taps into the minds and hearts of the black single male & female. A must read for women desiring to know how a man thinks. The book Cheaters" takes one through the emotional roller coaster of love, intense like, and just here for a minute while I get my groove on. Can't wait for the next book.

Review: THIS BOOK WAS SELECTED FOR THE BOOK OF THE MONTH FOR OUR BOOK CLUB,"CIRCLE OF FRIENDS", IT WAS A VERY GOOD CHOICE OF MINE. EJD'S CHARACTERS ARE OH TOO REAL, AND THEY SEEM TO HIT HOME. CHANTE REMINDED ME SO MUCH OF MYSELF THAT IT HURT. THIS BOOK ALONG WITH MILK IN MY COFFEE ARE BOTH FAVS OF MINE, AND I WILL CONTINUE TO BE A READER OF ALL EJD'S BOOKS. EJD HAS OUTDONE HISSELF WITH CHEATERS! CAN'T WAIT TILL THE NEXT ONE.

Summary: Great, true to life novel dealing with relationships
Review: Cheaters is one of the best novels that I have read recently. It focuses on today's dating game and the twists and turns as it relates to relationships - be it one on one or more than one. The content of this novel deals with the aspects that many other writers opt not to deal with. It explores love, truth, honesty, sex, sexuality, pain, suffering and emotional turmoil. It really opens up an avenue that shows the side of African American males that they want to keep hidden. It addresses the sensitive side that men try to hide and opens a woman's eye to that side of men. It's a great book and I have recommended it to all of my friends and fellow readers. If you're just beginning to read or if you're a member of a book club I highly recommend Cheaters for your enjoyment. I've have enjoyed all of his novels to this date and I can't wait for his new novel.

Review: "Cheaters" explores the continuing saga of contemporary relationships. Dating and marriage in the 90's is difficult at best, Mr. Dickey examines the pitfalls and the pleasures as he takes us through the lives of his well developed characters. You'll fall in love with Stephen, root for Darnell, and pity Jake. Chante' has the know how, but falls short in the arena of love, Tammy will make your heart soar, and Karen will make you want to kill her. But, what makes Dickey's book excellent reading is his ability to relate to all of us on some level, each of us has experienced the many stages of relationships that Dickey takes us through. Dickey has done it again! Congratulations.

Summary: Can he get any better??!!
Review: Ok, first let me just say that I read this book non-stop except for times I had to work of course. The book went into the bathroom and several other places too. I stayed up waaaay too late reading that book! I couldn't get enough. I woke up every morning wondering what was going to happen to every one. That's the kind of book I like. I kept the book in my car during the day and at every red light, every pause in traffic, I was reading the book. I would get mad when the light would turn green 'cause I was at a really good part in the book. I really enjoyed this book and it was written at the right time...I needed to read something like this. I must say though that Friends and Lovers is my favorite because his writing style was still new and I didn't know what to expect from his writing. By the time Cheaters came out I was used to the very funny one-liners and the excellent way he explains the characters. Dang boy you are good!Please tell us that we're going to see more of these characters. I truly enjoyed the way you added characters from other books. It's great! YOu're great! Thanks EJD, you are fantastic. All of your books make me cry, laugh and learn!

Review: Eric Jerome Dickey has done it again. He is the man. I think the book does a fantastic job of describing the circles in which many run in. Another great thing about the book is that it shows typical white collar people doing what many think is reserved for the young and ghetto. It breaks down that stereotype. The brotha is a great writer!

Summary: Cheaters is thought provoking and true to life a real joy!!!
Review: The characters in cheaters deal with real issues that many people can relate to. The characters embark on a search of what they need, and what they want in a relationship. While one searches for mental support, the next searches for a "good man", and yet another searches for physical satisfaction. They learn very quickly that relationships are no joke. Dickey's characters are crazy, sassy, funny, and just as real as can be. A real joy!!
