Summary: I thoroughly enjoyed the book
Review: EJD did it again with another novel that was so engrossing that I willingly bypassed sleep in order to finish. He skillfully managed to capture today's African-American dating scene and portray how people cheat. He did not disappoint those who have read his other books because the dialogue was still funny and real and he still kept it steamy.I still want to know how he can capture the womens thoughts with such precision. He can give a story from a woman's perspective better than many females. He makes his characters real, complete with all of the insecurity and baggage that so many of us carry. This is a must read.

Review: Reading this book allowed me, as a female, the rare opportunity to look at relationships from a male's perspective. Yet surprisingly, it also touched my female side. A writer with the talent to show both sides of a relationship is rare. The lack of sterotyping of the black male and female characters, allowed me to enjoy it even more. Again Mr. Dickey, THANKS! PS Get some sleep!

Summary: The Best Book of 1999!!!!
Review: This book was such a fast read. Even though I don't agree with cheating. This was a great book the characters were great and I just couldn't put the book down. I couldn't help but think that the characters Stephen and Jake would have to classify as dogs. But the characters were also nice guys so it was hard to hate them. I loved his previous work and this is even better. He definitely a fan in me.

Review: I found myself sleep deprived, because I stubbornly refused to put the book down until the very end. Eric Jerome Dickey has done a fantastic job once again. The characters in Cheaters will have you laughing, crying, cheering and booing right along with the story. I would like to say BRAVO!! BRAVO!! KEEP UP THE EXCELLENT WORK.

Summary: Damn Good!
Review: Every set of five stars that one might see on this page is surely well deserved. My friend was upset that he had spent his $ only to have me finish it in two days. It was just that good. Every spare second I had I was flipping through the pages--and even I was upset when it ended. It was just that good. If you're looking for a good read, this is definitely your number one choice. Its the best book I've read this summer (out of twelve others)...and there was never a dull moment...well, Darnell was kind of boring at times (just a little bit though)...but that's about it.

Review: ERIC HAS DONE IT AGAIN. EVEN THOUGH I THOROUGLY ENJOYED ERIC'S OTHER BOOKS, THIS BOOK KEPT ME UP NIGHTS READING. I READ CHEATERS IN FOUR DAYS. ERIC HAS REALLY OUT DONE HIMSELF. I WENT ON A WEEKEND GETAWAY WITH A FEW OF MY GIRLFRIENDS AND I READ THE BOOK MOST OF THE WEEKEND. I WAS SO ENGROSSED IN MY BOOK THAT ONE OF MY GIRLFRIENDS STARTED READING IT WHEN I TOOK BRAKES. ON OUR WAY HOME FROM OUR GETAWAY I HAD TO DRIVE FOR 2-1/2 HOURS. MY GIRLFRIEND STARTED READING MY BOOK AND WHEN WE MADE IT BACK HOME SHE DID NOT WANT TO GIVE THE BOOK BACK. ALSO, I WENT TO ERIC'S BOOK SIGNING IN SAN FRANCISCO SO MY BOOK IS AUTOGRAPHED BY ERIC WHICH MAKES IT IS VERY SPECIAL. BECAUSE MY GIRLFRIEND AND I TRADE BOOKS FROM TIME TO TIME, SHE THOUGHT I WOULD LOAN HER MY BOOK. I TOLD HER NO WAY THIS TIME GIRLFRIEND. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK ERIC I AM AWAITING YOUR NEXT BOOK.

Review: Cheaters - I loved the way EJD portrayed the relationship and memories that Stephan had about his father. And how negative comments made him feel. I think the story line was good, but it didn't capture my attention, like the others.
