Summary: I enjoyed the book until I got to the end.
Review: I thoroughly enjoyed the book until I got to the end. I was sitting under the hair dryer at my hair salon when I finished the book. Once I got through the last chapter, I immediately closed the book and yelled NO!! Everyone turned around and looked at me wondering what was wrong. I couldn't believe that it had ended the way that it did. Due to my reaction of the book, many people at the salon are now interested in reading the book. Please don't leave me hanging like that again!!

Summary: refreshing honest detail into the lives of cheaters
Review: I found this novel to be his best work, next to friend and lovers of course. The characters are so real they seem to be someone that you may know. Instead of the ordinary plot, Dickey takes his readers on a long haunting journey as we try to imagine how different things would have been for all characters if only they could be faithful. From page one these characters will keep you guessing, laughing and angry all at the same time. With each turning page you will ask yourself why men and woman do the things that they do in and out of relationships. If you liked Friends and lovers, get ready to fall inlove with Stephan, Chante and the whole gang. Although they may not be characters that you would like to meet in our own personal lives, they make for fantastic reading. Once again Dickey has inked another classic. Enjoy!

Summary: INCREDIBLE-This book moved me.
Review: This is of the few books that both my wife and I have read. It took me 1 1/2 days to read it and that was only because my wife was still reading it when I picked it up!I don't want to give anything away, but you will not want to put this book down. There is NEVER a dull moment and Eric puts so much reality into these characters that you truly believe they exist! A rich tapestry is painted across the backdrop of being a young black adult living in southern California (or anywhere for that matter).Mr. Dickey's sense of timing, realism, and relationships are beyond compare. Please read this book and feel what I felt.

Review: EJD---Daymn brotha you just hit upon where I was at in my life right when I picked up this book! I was slightly disappointed in Milk but you restored my faith in your realistic writing. This book is written with so much feeling and emotion from both the male and female perspective. I enjoyed every character, every word and every page...Thank you again for writing such a beautiful book!

Review: I enjoyed reading CHEATERS, so much I've gotten several of my associates to pick-up the book.

I've started "Milk in and Coffee" I'm sure I will enjoy it just as much.

Keep Up the good work and may the LORD continue to Bless You.

Summary: True life reading. A wonderful book.
Review: Eric Jereome Dickey's characters in this book are great. I can see some of my friends in the characters. Chante' in this story was great. I can see myself in her character. I really loved the way the friends all came together when it counted. I look forward to another book by this author. I have read all of his books "Friends and Lovers","Milk in my Coffee" and others but none I enjoyed like "Cheaters".

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Not as good as his others books
Review: I'm a big fan of EJD and have enjoyed all of his books to the fullest but "CHEATERS" wasn't all that. I think that the ending was incomplete. Too much happen at the end. Alot was left unclear. I do look forward to reading more of EDJ work in the future. Be Blessed!

Summary: CHEATER'S IS THE REASON WHY I GOT CALLER ID !!!!
Review: I have read all of Dickey's books in 3 days or less because the characters feel so real that I have to know their fate. Friends and Lovers is my favorite but after reading Cheater's I would love to see Chante and Tyrel meet up. His books are always a roller coaster ride filled with thrills where you find yourself cheering for your favorite characters and crying for them when they do something stupid. This book is a must read over and over again ! I'll be the first in line to buy the next bestseller from this talented author !!!!

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: What kind of ending was that??
Review: With all the exciting and/or dramatic endings of Eric's other books, I am a little disappointed in the way Cheaters ended. There was entirely too much happening in the lives of the characters in the last TWO pages of the book. It was moreso a summary that needed to be expanded upon instead. I felt that the ending was too rushed. Personally, the book could have gone on another 5 or 6 chapters and there would have been no complaints!
