Summary: Wonderful Book, Addictive Reading!
Review: This book was very interesting. I have read all of EJD's books. All of them were equally as absorbing. Once begun, one would not want to put the book down. I could not wait to finish. Some parts I did find to be somewhat predictable, but yet it was so well put together, it was still more than worth reading. I recommend all of EJD's books to anyone. You will be utterly consumed with the desire to complete each one.

Summary: The best way to spend eight hours!
Review: Ok, it actually took me less than eight! Like a good movie, reading "Cheaters" takes you through a world of emotions and feelings. To say it is entertaining is a given but it is much more. It draws you into the lives of the characters and reminds you of the greatest yet most complicated issue of our lives, love.

Summary: Definately a talented brother that must be experienced.
Review: "Bravo My Brotha"! I finished "Cheaters" in a day and a half. I experienced every possible emotion, while reading his books. I was talking to the characters in "Cheaters" like they could hear me. I have never been so drawn into a story as EJD drew me into "Cheaters" and now "Sister, Sister". I was relating, sympathizing, hating, loving, crying and laughing. I went out, that next weekend, and purchased the rest of his novels(Friends and Lovers and Milk in My Coffee). I love the way the characters or should I say their drama reoccurs through the different books. Keep them coming. I can, easily, see myself standing in the bookstore waiting for them to unpack the next Eric Jerome Dickey novel. Thanks for the experience! -Pati-

Review: Eric Jerome Dickey is the ultimate creator of lovable characters, even characters that we love to hate. He has a vivid community of characters that overlap in all of his novels. When they reappear, the reader wants to jump in and say, "Hey girl, I remember you. What's been up." The feelings are authentic, the scenarios realistic, dialogue natural. I couldn't put it down until it was finished-- and I was sad when it ended. Friends and Lovers is still my favorite, but all of his books are phenomenal. EJD if you read this, I am a fan-- even though you never e-mail me back. I still adore you!

Summary: The book was extremely realistic,I loved the characters.
Review: Mr. Dickey has once again outdone himself. I found myself so involved with this book that I forgot about othe aspects of life. I knew the people in the book they were my friends. EJD has captured the african american dating game and turned it into an art form. The characters jump out the pages at you and are in your living room, car or baathtub wherever you prefer to read. Big ups to my man eric for this sensational novel. Im anxiously awaiting number 5. To any men or women who have been involved with anyone this id diffently one to pick up.

Summary: Characters so life-like they keep you in awe.
Review: Mr.Dickey has done it once again in Cheaters. The characters and their personalities along with the storyline were so common and so real it was like I could really relate, if not in my own life in someones life that I am close with. Mr.Dickey's work has a quality that will keep you coming back for more as with all of his books, but I think particularly so with Cheaters. The moment I purchased the book I knew it was going to be good because the inside jacket cover lets you know okay this is going to be something that me (a female)I always wondered with men, what makes them cheat. What makes them stray? Not that I was directly looking for an answer but an undestanding of how in this situation were things going to turn out and what made it that way. Mr.Dickey in this book dealt with I believe every aspect of a relationship that one could go though. I strongly recommend this book for anybody that reads any type of book on relationships and their ups and downs.

Review: Once again EJD has out done himself. If you have never read any of his books-you are truely missing something. I love how he puts previous characters with the current book-they are gone but never forgotten.

Summary: EJD describes the turmoil of relationships perfectly!
Review: As a young professional single woman, I find Eric Jerome Dickeys writing style of the "90's" to be very fresh, provacative and totally realistic. His style of writing such as in "Cheaters", gets you very involved with the characters from the get go, which makes this book very difficult to put down! You can't wait to find out what is going to go down in the next scenario between Chante and Stephan, or any of the other characters for that fact. I appreciate EJD and his ability to write about such personal and sexual feelings. Coming from a man, this is rare, but he has mastered the art of combining pleasure, entertainment and lust into a meaningful story that we can all relate to. I really enjoy how he individualizes each character within their own chapters, as if they themselves have written it. This gives you great insight on what each character is thinking and how they see and feel about the situation at hand. It is as powerful as Milk In My Coffee, his last hit novel, which amazingly lent a positive and realistic imagery towards interracial realtionships. As a person involved in interracial dating, this really hit home for me and made me look at mistakes I have made in my own dealings. EJD is a great author because he writes REAL stories about REAL characters that everyone can relate to. Keep up the great work ERIC,...cos we all love ya out here and think you are da bomb! I will buy any book you write because I already know it will be great!
