Rating: Summary: YOU GO BOY!!!!!! Review: What more can i say other than i LOVED this book! This has got to be EJD's best work ever. Please continue with the flow and hey how come everybody has to be so triflin and i do mean EVERYBODY!!!! So in closing i just want to say MORE, MORE, MORE.
Rating: Summary: QUITE SIMPLY ENCHANTING! Review: This is one that our Reader Circle spent several hours discussing. Some didn't like the way it portrayed women. Some didn't like the way it portrayed men. And some thought there were simply too much graphic sex. We concluded that many African American novelists are focusing too much on romance and not enough on other issues. But this was a good read. We also recommend "The Coldest Winter Ever" and "Pseudo Cool"
Rating: Summary: OFF THE HOOK!!!! Review: EJD has done it again..... Friends & Lovers, Sister, Sister and Cheaters were off the hook. I am on my way now to purchase Milk In My Coffee. Thanks for such great reading......
Rating: Summary: The novel was hilarious, thought searching and evocative. Review: I thoroughly enjoyed reading this novel. As a librarian, I frequently review tons of books. I welcome him as an upcoming male african american writer. Keep up the good work!
Rating: Summary: He has done it again Review: Unlike his other novels, this book is good from the beginning. I really enjoyed. If you enjoy Eric Jerome Dickey you will enjoy this.
Rating: Summary: The book is better than Chocolate Review: Eric J Dickey is the man I think every book he writes gets better and better. I love the way his old characters are woven in with the new this book is the talk of my workplace. I would like him to know this book was one of my highlights of the summer
Rating: Summary: Movingly realistic Review: I am a very sensitive person .This book brought me to tears with its life like senarios. I felt as if I could be one of the charactors and the rest could be people in my life. Did not want to put it down.
Rating: Summary: Breath-taking Review: I really enjoyed this book. I have read all of Dickey's books and every one of them is better than the last. I think everyone should read this book; you might see someone you know or yourself through the characters.
Rating: Summary: Dickey has a winner, AGAIN!!! Review: This book is one of the best I've read all summer. While I wasn't saitsfied with 'Milk in My Coffee', I surely regained all loyalty to Dickey with his come back book in 'Cheaters'. I have recommened it to all of me friends, and co-workers, both male and female because it is truly a good book. The book was well written, kept my attention, and I still wanted more when I finished the book. Keep up the good work Eric- You're teaching me that there are still a few good Black men out there, just don't be stupid and stick around with the men theat aren't worthy of my time. SO, when's the next book due to come out?? (SMILE)
Rating: Summary: Fantastic Book Review: I started reading this and couldn't put it down. Stayed inside the whole weekend to finish this book. It was very much worth it. I love this author.
