Review: All the characters in this book are like friends we've all had. Now maybe their lives are more varied with casual sex but they are striving to figure out what they want and what/who is important?I liked the first person style of each chapter, rotating through all the characters. This was the first book I've ready by E.Dickey and enjoyed it.

Summary: TRUE TO LIFE
Review: This book is one of the best yet to come from Eric Jerome Dickey. I was totally captivated with all the characters in this book. It seemed as if he captured the lives of myself and all of my friends (male and female) while writing this book. I don't know how he will outdo this one, but I can't wait for the next novel.

Summary: Dickey Strikes Again!
Review: Words cannot clearly express the way this book will make you feel. Mr. Dickey has a way of getting to the nitty gritty of life in Southern Cali. He is able to write in the voice of men and women. As a woman this is a bit frightening. I can relate to many of the sisters he writes about in some form or another. In Cheaters he manages to show the dark side of relationships. He introduces you to men that,if you met them in person, you would immediately call a DAWG and hate them forever. Such as Stephan dating every woman under the sun (dippin' in ho soup), Darnell stepping outside his marriage, and Jake (too much to say about that borther). However, Mr. Dickey is able to have you feeling compasion for these people (even that no good Jake who can't keep his fly zipped). For me, this is the sign of a fantastic writer.

Review: i just finished what i consider a masterpiece the book my friend got me to order it was the bomb, the hip, an all that... i read all the previous bools by Mr. Dickey. This one is once more a classic i enjoyed the dialogs, the characters, and the realness of the Ghetto ways in the book... it feels like i was there livig it alone with the people he created.... i love this book and i plan on passing it to all my real peeps to read.... i wanna give much love to the writer Jerome keep it coming a nd to all my peeps in Brooklyn, Crown heights whose about to read this masterpiece... Masha, Ty, Darry(Shorty doop woop) to mov... thanks againg girl to my peeps at work who makes sure i stay tight, demo and the whole entire staff much love stay on top for the millenium baby much love.... mike,,,, and oh get the book it's one to carry into the next century peace

Summary: I love the way Eric Jerome Dickey Keeps it Real
Review: All of EJD's books are so conforting to me. I Just relocated from the Inland Empire and when I read his books it takes me home. I have to admit that Cheaters was the best book yet. Cheaters showed women like myself the inside of a Cheater and what both participants go through. He tells his readers what everyone that cheats is thinking. I wish that he would make a movie out of this book. Keep it up Eric Jerome Dickey you are an inspiration to young african american adults. Cheaters was the BOMB Baby!

Summary: This book was the bomb baby. All that and then some!!!!!
Review: This book captures the true meaning of cheating. It informs brothers and sisters what the consequences are when you are playing with someone's heart and emotions. Mr. Dickey captured the true spirit of the characters. And some of the stunts they pulled had me laughing out loud like the highway scene when Ole girl chases brother man down with the car. She got him ghetto style. I hope that brothers and sisters learn from this and begin to act right and realize that when you feel betrayed and hurt the smartest most educated person can turn into an insane person. Keep up the good work Jerome. I can't wait for the next one. I have them all. Peace.

Summary: DICKEY DOES IT ONE MO' TIME
Review: 'DICKEY' as my girlfriend & I so fondly call him, has done it again. The bad part about the book is that it ENDS. You get all caught up in the characters and whats going to happen next, it was a real page turner, and who doesn't know or know of someone who has done some of the same things these players did, or have done them yourself LOL 'DICKEY' can't wait for the next one..
