Review: I am a EJD fan! I've read all his books and now book them in advance! I try to read at least 3 books a month, and started this one on my daily transit commute. As usual, I found myself smiling and laughing out loud, and twice missing my station stop! I finally had to finish the book over the weekend. I've never reviewed a book before, but now that I know this site I will be rating all I read! I'm especially glad to see so many other sistahs and brothers supporting black authors. EJD...you the man!

Review: I enjoyed all of E. Jerome Dickey's books but this is the best yet. Keep up the good work. Is there a part two, to cheaters. I can't wait

Summary: i loved it because i could relate
Review: my favorite line was "love is like the wind you can never hold on to it. it teases you and makes you want it even more." not exactly right but along those lines. when i read that i could have cried. i think the description and use of words throughout the book was amazing

Review: I liked the characters; I was able to EMpathize with the cheaters. At times I didn't want to put down the book, but had to so that I could digest the story in parts and continue at later times. This is my first EJD novel and I look forward to reading the others. Keep them coming, EJD!

Review: Eric Jerome Dickey's talent far exceeds being a writer, he pulls you into his book as if you are actually living with the characters. It is a rare and magical moment when you can be taken to another place in time without leaving your home. The characters are people you know and grew up with, some are family members, sometimes you know them so well you think it is your life you are reading about. His writing style is so powerful you don't even realize you are reading because the characters and the surroundings are so vivid you are actually seeing them. You are there! I have read many a book and I must confess Eric Jerome Dickey is one of the best writer's of our time. He must live a full life being able to transform through his characters lives. I hope to enjoy many, many more adventures through the life and times of EJD's characters. God bless EJD!

YOU REALLY MADE A GOOD COME BACK.I LOVE HOW YOU CARRY YOUR CHRACTERS OVER FROM ONE BOOK TO ANOTHER. IT'S LIKE YOU REALLY GET TO KNOW MORE ON THE CHARACTERS. Summary: jerome really came through on showing how brothers think
Review: Cheaters is one of the best books from summer 1999. Jerome had each of his characters so finely developed that I wondered if they were real life friends of his. (smile) It is definately a book you will not put down. If you women want to try and get a sneak peek into the head of some of our doggish men check out CHEATERS.Much praises to you Jerome for an excellent job. I enjoy books that don't bring down brothers but simply show their perspective. I look forward to your next book and I plan to have your book at the top of the list for our book club review. Review: I found this book facinating! Dickey capture the sense of the word "cheating" in this book. In one way or another one could actually place his/ herself in the characters shoes and actually see where they are coming from.
