Summary: Scan-du-lus
Review: This book kept me up all night turning pages. Eric Jerome Dickey does not disappoint, again. I really enjoyed this book. The things the characters did in this book had me laughing and trippin. The author manages to always give you both sides of the story, so you never get the impression that he is more for one side or the other. Both women and men do wrong and are wronged. The characters are complex, down to earth and all have facets in their personalities that we all can relate to. This is a great book and if you like this one, be sure to check out all his other books.

Summary: ERIC DID A GREAT JOB!
Review: The book started off a little slow but once you got to the 2nd chapter there was no going back. I could not put the book down I was on lunch breaks reading, reading between phone calls at work and did not get any sleep for two nights. I was determined to finish the novel I had to know the ending. Eric keep up the good work. I am looking forward to a new release from you soon.

Summary: The best book I've read all year
Review: I'm so proud to read a book by such a talented African-American male author. I enjoyed this book from sun-up to sun-down. I couldn't put it down and can't wait for others. I've read "Sis/Sis" and "F&L" and am about to start "Milk" tonight (guess I won't get much sleep). Keep up the magnificent work Eric!

Summary: AWESOME! FANTASTIC! GREAT READ!
Review: "CHEATERS" is one of the best books, I've read. EJD did a wonderful job of developing the characters--they were sooo real! I also think he rushed through the end of the book. I really did not want it to end. Hopefully, there will be a sequel. I also enjoyed reading "Friends & Lovers, and my book club has chosen "Milk In My Coffee" to disccuss in January 00.

Summary: THE AUDIOBOOK TAKES YOU THERE
Review: Out of curiosity I bought the audiobook of Cheaters and was pleasantly surprised. The abridged version is well read by EJD, Brenda Denise Stinson, and Steven Anthony James. One surprise was the pronounciation of Stephan, which I thought was something entirely different than how's it's said on tape. Listening to the story is definitely a different experience than reading the book. But it was cool. I recommend it. Listening will take you there even more.

Summary: I'm in love again
Review: First there was Tyrel in F&L, now there is Stephen in Cheaters. This book was so hard to put down, on every page there was a little jealousy, love, hot passion, mind control, and playa hating. Typical in this day and age. I am totally impressed with the realism of the characters in this novel. Dawn was mis-e-ra-ble, Chante was wild and ready to be tamed, Jake was a dog-no doubt-, Darnell was true and dedicated but needed to be loved and appreciated like any man should if their heart is in the right place-he however was pushed in another direction. Karen-defines a playa hata to the teeth, she drank so much Hater-ade til she was drunk on stupidity. Stephen got the day that was coming to him, but the outcome was well the worth. So mad props to Eric Jerome Dickey, you have found away to steal my heart, time and attention with a captivating novel.

Summary: This book is fanastic, it held my interest throughout.
Review: The book was fast moving. It never lingered, like some books, getting too detailed with the little things. The characters' situations were realistic and made me do a little soul searching myself. However, the last chapter could have been expanded. I wasn't ready for it to end.

Summary: GREAT FROM BEGINNING TO END
Review: I haven't read many books that are strictly about African-Americans, but I must say I would recommend this book to "all" of my friends. The way that Eric Jerome Dickey wrote the female characters was so real, it's hard to believe that it came from a man, especially the "love scenes." It's amazing that he could describe the way we feel and think - almost made me think he could've been a woman! Although this book was a great read, it also makes me happy to be married. I'd love to see this book made into a movie. I've already decided to get Milk In My Coffee. Keep the books coming!

Summary: Absolutely marvelous; Full of heart.
Review: This is a riveting book about wanting, needing and having love in all arenas. It explores the depth of relationships.
