Review: ... quite a lot of truth in that book...wisdom...fun...makes you think&laugh at the same time... it just took me a few days reading that book, i was even reading while walking from the tram to my apt, from the office to the tram - whenever&wherever i was walking by myself i was reading - no chance to stop!!! for me this story brought men`s and women`s worlds together to that one spot where we are all so much alike: when it comes to real love & hurt feelings it`s not easy to get EJDs books over here in austria but i will definitely try to get all of them - after i read CHEATERS i just have to read them all! thanx to the writer!

Review: After reading 'Friends & Lovers', I decided Mr. Dickey had serious writing skills. He definetely captured my undivided attention, bring urban real life drama to print. He writes like a man who has experienced the 'Cheating' of every average Joe, yets writes just as compassionate about a sista's trauma. I read this book in one day. One page kept turning into the next, because I swear I knew half the people he was writing about.My college-bound daughter turned me on to EDJ. Her girlfriends had told her that this brother was entertaining, but enlightening. I have already order two more books!!! I believe this book would serve as a great pilot to a TV series.

Summary: A LITTLE SOMETHING DIFFERENT!!
Review: For me this was my 3rd EJD novel. they say don't judge a book by its cover.. I do. i knew that this was going to be different because on all the covers of his other books, you see all of the characters faces, except on Cheaters. this was my 2nd favorite novel, MIMC( Milk In My Coffee) was my favorite. if you haven't read Friends & Lovers, then you'll miss the subplot in Cheaters. And before you read the Liar's Game, make sure you understand Cheaters.. EJD, keep on writing the life-like realistic writings.

Summary: Cheaters! Definitely worth reading!
Review: This is the first book I've ever read by Eric Jerome Dickey. It won't be the last! Cheaters is one of the must funny and romantic books I've ever read. The characters were real and exciting. Every chapter was a surprise that kept me wanting to read even more. I ready 75% of the book in one night and had finished the entire book by the following day. Stephan and Chante, the two main characters, were really well defined characters. I love the way he brought them all together. I was a bit surprised by the ending, but non the less pleased. If the rest of Mr. Dickey's books are like this one, I look forward to reading them all!

Review: Thank you for writing a book which shows that as African Americans we are more than just sex machines. The characters were insightful and real people. It is good to read a book in which you can relate to the characters. Stephen and Chante associated with friends that we all could relate to in some form. It was well written with a realism that surpasses the imagination. READ THIS BOOK!

Summary: Just Can't Get Enough of EJD
Review: I have read all of EJD's books. I just finished reading Cheaters and as with all his books, I was left with this longing feeling for more. I locked myself in my room, curled up and didn't come out until the book was finished! They are like a really GREAT movie where you never want it to end, full of plots and twists that make you want to jump in and shake some of the characters, like Dawn and Karen, desire the passion between Chante and Stephan ( oh so great!) and make Jake hurt a little more. I was truly happy to read that Chante and Stephan worked it out, at least for the moment - next. Brilliant. Just started Liar's Game and already looking forward to another Fantastic Voyage with EJD!

Review: EVERY TIME I PICK UP A BOOK BY "JEROME," I FEEL LIKE I AM RIGHT THERE IN THE TIME AND PLACE WHERE HIS CHARACTERS ARE. HIS WRITING IS SO REAL LIFE AND SO BELIEVEABLE YOU ACTUALLY FEEL COMFORTABLE READING IT. I FOUND MYSELF ACTUALLY WANTING TO ENTER INTO THE STORY TO TELL A FEW OF THE CHARACTERS A THING OR TWO, LIKE DARNELL'S PLAYER HATING WIFE AND THE CRAZY GIRLFRIEND WHO COULDN'TLET GO OF A GOOD PIECE. ALSO, I TRULY WANTED TO FIGHT THEJAKE FOR CHEATING ON SO MANY WOMAN, AND I DON'T EVEN KNOW CHANTE' BUT SHE HAD IT GOING ON AN DI WAS HER!!! THIS IS A STORY THAT HAPPENS ALL THE TIME AND EVERYDAY AND IF YOU DON'T READ IT, TRUST ME YOU ARE MISSING A TREAT. MELINDA ADAMS
